Sotal awoke on his wedding day to find himself in bed with the party dancer from his bachelor party. So they used the bed. Again.
At another property the family owned, Sotal's mistress was busily working on her next novel unaware that the heir had other company at the moment.
Having gotten a good night's rest, Sotal and May Flower, the party dancer, decided to shower. Together.
"Well, I'm off to get things set up for my wedding," he said to the still soggy May.
"Okay, have fun with that," she said in reply. "And call me sometime," which seemed to be both a question and a statement.
"Oh, I most certainly will," the heir said, knowing full well they would be skipping town within the next day or two.
Another elf was responding to a text he'd received.
"Sotal? Are you here? I got your text," Breagadoir called out as he walked into the house.
"Come on in, Breagadoir," said a smiling Lana. "But Sotal didn't send that text. I did."
Titania had not accompanied Breagadoir to the love nest, and had instead come to the wedding site.
She was performing for the guests as they arrived. And she made $13 in tips.
"Ah, my beautiful bride," said the elven heir, greeting his vampiric fiancé. "We'll start the ceremony as soon as Father arrives."
"Is he running late for some reason?" the Countess asked.
"Yes," replied Sotal, "but heaven only knows what he's dealing with. He's a very busy man," he added, beaming with pride and admiration.
The Countess smiled at her young groom, "You want to be just like him, don't you?"
"Absolutely," he confirmed. He then introduced his bride to his sister Nadine Durwood and then to his sister Ella MacDuff.
"We all admire Father greatly," he informed his bride. "Oh, if you'll excuse me?" He then shot a fire blast at Pip Goodfellow before checking the text message he'd just received.
"He says we can get started, he'll be right here," announced the elven heir.
In front of a blend of humans, elves, fairies, and vampires, the heir and the countess were wed.
His father arrived as the ceremony started.
And he was mildly caught off guard as Damon wiped at a tear.
Titania was not pleased with the look that passed between Breagadoir and Faith MacDuff,
but he hugged her and reassured her she was the only woman he was interested in even as Sotal kissed his bride again. It's possible they were both thinking of Lana. Then they had a nice, quiet time at the reception. After all, Pip had already been hit with a fire blast.
