"...Heaven's toddler years flew by," the Watcher continued, "and her teen birthday arrived."
"And she ended up going kind of punk rock."
"Kid's got some attitude," Breagadoir commented, "she may not be all bad despite her father."
"Anyway," the Watcher continued, irritated, "she revamped her wardrobe and wasted no time in securing a prom date."
"I'm not entirely certain that her imaginary friend was okay with this,"
"or how he has a human form without having had the potion to make him real..."
"And her brother continues to build his logic skill while she awaits what lifetime wish her future may hold."
"With any luck, one of the skill books she's skimmed through will help."
"And her parents, meanwhile, both keep working towards the goal of becoming chess masters."
"Can we move on to Alainn's update now?" asked Breagadoir. "While neither of my siblings have a chance of winning, she's at least more interesting."
"She certainly is interesting," agreed the Watcher. "At any rate, her kids were also ready to take on their teen years."
"Nieve, who has definitely been the more dominant personality of the two, aged up first. She really became quite the pretty young lady."
"Alphin managed to outgrow some of his childish awkwardness."
"And he has focused in on building his logic, handiness, and charisma skills in hopes they'll help with his lifetime wish."
"Sweet little Nieve continues working on her athletic skill and her writing. She has two books published and is most of the way finished with her third," the Watcher said, somewhat beaming over the pair of elven offspring. The beaming went away as she continued, "You'll recall that your sister had completed her lifetime wish by bringing back her former love, Nancy Landgraab."
"Well, it seems that Nancy's ghost is very different than the Nancy your sister had fallen in love with."
"Your sister was not pleased."
"Having this experience, and her countless broken relationships to reach her goal, she determined that the only person she could really count on was herself."
"So, the next day, after the kids had left for school,"
"she used a clone drone elixir."
"She and her cloned self, who opted to go by the name 'Alanna,' found each other irresistible. However, Alanna decided to do a quick make-over so they would look at least a little bit different in public. The kids were a bit shocked when they got home."
"Nieve's take on it was, 'Mom, you're so weird...both of you.' The poor girl might need therapy."
"And Alanna decided to find what she thought would be a reasonable profession..."
"so she became a magician."
Breagadoir didn't respond to this update. He was too busy laughing.
