The Elven Town Jump-The Summoning
« Reply #465 on: July 16, 2013, 11:54:32 AM »

Breagadoir had been lured to a dark alley, faced with the threat of rivals wielding dark magic, and was being betrayed by someone he thought was an ally.  But it had gotten worse.  The dark magic seemed to be a summoning.

His magic was having no impact on the demon.  The best he could hope to do was to keep a shield up to protect himself.

Things might have looked hopeless to some, but not to the elven prince.  He had a pair of aces up his sleeve.

"What the..." blurted out a startled Joe MacDuff as he was shoved away from the podium.
"You sound so robotic, Joey," said Sotal, as he threw an elixir at his rival's feet.

A robotic voice asked, "What did you do to me?"
"Something far kinder than what you had intended for Father," the heir answered spitefully.

Damon simply let his actions speak for him.  Billy didn't stick around to see what other actions the enforcer might take.

And the magical trio was dispersed as Sotal threw another elixir.

"Damon," called Sotal, "keep the demon occupied so Father and I can banish it."
Damon simply replied, "On it."

"NOO!!" Nightmare cried out.  "How could you have known?"
"You forget, Billy's sister is my primary informant and Damon is dating Joe's sister," answered Breagadoir, as he rushed to look at the scroll.

Breagdoir and Sotal quickly began scanning the scroll trying to isolate the name of the demon.

"Hurry!" called out Damon, even as he was fighting with all his might just to hold the beast at bay.
But even at that moment, Sotal found the name.

Where a beast had been standing mere seconds before, was now simply a strange circle of mystical symbols.
Turning his face up to the fire escape where Nightmare was standing, Breagadoir simply asked, "Why?"

"Because it wasn't me," she answered.  "Because it would never be me.  I forsook my name, my family, everything I had known to be with you, but you were obsessed with someone else.  I kept hoping you'd appreciate what was right before you, but you kept taking me for granted.  Now, I know what you've been looking for.  You'll never be mine."

"And if you wanted so badly," she continued, "to be with a ghost, I just thought I'd help you along.  Goodbye, Breagadoir."
He watched for a moment, then simply said, "Goodbye."

Wow, that was intense. (Also, was that CC used for the demon? It looked pretty cool.)

Poor Nightmare. Maybe she'll get to terrorize whichever sibling comes to Moonlight Falls next. :)

That, my friend, was sheer brilliance!

Nightmare's travails do not concern me, she should not have betrayed Breagadoir  ;D

Perhaps Breagadoir is feeling some remorse? It's rather out of character, but I think I might in his shoes. She certainly loved him. Perhaps more than any woman ever will. Saw his flaws and his failures and loved him anyway. That's an incredibly heartbreaking thing to lose.

Oh, if only demons were a standard life state for Sims!  Yes, there was extra content there.  Nightmare will persevere.  She's a strong, independent young woman.

Pshh, you flatterer!  I'm glad you're seeing it from Breagadoir's angle.  Yes, he's self-obsessed, but he's consistenly so  :=)

I believe your hopeless romantic trait is showing  ;=)  Yeah, Nightmare was driven by loving devotion, and one can only wonder if Breagadoir truly grasps what he lost in her.

So we've discovered that I'm a Hopeless Romantic and a Neurotic sim. Perhaps one day we'll figure out all 5 of my traits!

Oh! I loved that. Wow, all those updates! We worship thee, Breagadoir.

Well, at least he hasn't killed off Nightmare yet. She'll get a few hours reprieve at least ;)

Well, only 3 more to go, so I'm sure we can figure it out.

Thanks!  Yeah, I don't know if he could ever kill Nightmare.  She holds such a special place in his heart.  And she was up on the fire escape and his fire blast didn't go that far...

The Elven Town Jump-The Other Heirs
« Reply #474 on: July 18, 2013, 11:03:55 AM »

"...and so they settled on naming Heaven as the heir," the Watcher informed Breagadoir.

"So to recap," began the prince, "because Charmaine told my brother she wanted her little girl to be the heir, he caved?  Excellent strength for the monarchy there."
"No," the Watcher said, "he simply accepted and valued the input of his wife.  Maybe you could learn something from him.  And anyway," she continued, "Heaven is a very strong, independent young lady."

"Strong and independent?" mused the elven prince.  "Must take after her uncle."
"She has fantastic people skills and is quickly making friends," continued the Watcher.

"And she's very health conscious and exercises with the workout channel frequently."

"And," said the Watcher, with a playful tone to her voice, "she may be a big sister before too long."

"Well, how nice for them," said the prince.  "Are you done wasting my time with your updates now?"
"No," said the Watcher, all playfulness gone from her voice now.  "Wait until you hear about Alainn."

"Her pink-skinned elven son, Alphin, is her heir."

"Actually," she continued, "he was Alainn's only possible choice since her daughter, Nieve, has human features other than the pointed ears."

"It's unfortunate as Nieve seems to be her favored child.  Nieve has even published her first novel.  Alphin does little other than school work and playing with blocks."
"Fascinating," said the prince, without any real feeling behind it.  "Are we done yet?"
"No," said the Watcher, happily.  "I haven't told you the part you'll hate."

"Alainn had her former lover, Nancy Langraab, brought back as a ghost."

"She proposed going steady to the ghost, and thereby achieved her lifetime wish as Nancy's ghost was Alainn's tenth significant other.  Alainn has completed her lifetime wish.  Have you?"
Much to the Watcher's disappointment, the prince was unphased.  "I have not, but my heir is over halfway finished with his and we can't head to the next land until both parent and child have reached their lifetime wishes.  How is Alphin's block playing coming along?"

And with that, Bregadoir gave a cruel smile, declared this update finished, and walked out of the house saying, "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date."

The Elven Town Jump-The Date
« Reply #475 on: July 18, 2013, 11:06:20 AM »

"Thanks for at least choosing to bring me someplace beautiful," began Naomi, "but you don't need to keep up the act."
"Act?" repeated Damon, clearly confused.

"I betrayed my brother's plot to you so you could save your father.  Wasn't that the whole reason you were pretending to like me in the first place?  To get information?"
"I'm not pretending," he replied, pulling her into his embrace.

"But look at you," she said.  "You're all muscles and good looks.  I'm just frumpy."
"I don't know what 'frumpy' means," he began with a frown."You're smart, funny, and pretty.  If that's what 'frumpy' means, you're the frumpiest woman I've ever met."  And with this statement, he pulled out the bouquet he'd been hiding.

"They're beautiful," she said.
"You're beautiful," he said.

And they spent the rest of the evening

chatting and watching the stars.

The Elven Town Jump-The Inventor's Birthday
« Reply #476 on: July 18, 2013, 11:09:11 AM »

Diahl spends most of his time inventing or finding scrap.  Therefore, no one was surprised when he aged up in the junkyard.

However, it's been very surprising how strong Bregaadoir's hair genes are.
"Time for another makeover," sighed the eccentric inventor.

Damon's relationship with Naomi has become even more serious.
"You could be my girlfriend, if you want to," he offered awkwardly.

"Yes, I want to," she said with a delighted smile.
"Good, 'cause I was gonna feel really stupid if you said no."

Sinister Pride continues to amaze crowds.  It surely has nothing to do with the two hypnotizers he keeps on stage during his performances.

A made-over Diahl went to his graduation,

then straight back to inventing.

But he's not the only one striving to improve a skill,

or make a new discovery.

The Elven Town Jump-The New Member of the Household
« Reply #477 on: July 18, 2013, 11:11:25 AM »

A certain woman has caught Breagadoir's eye.

She was a redhead and wore clown make up.

She was also married.

Not that the elven prince let that be an obstacle.

"Hello, my dear," Breagadoir greeted the fairy queen.
"You know my husband won't like this," she replied.

"I've already informed him that you're not his concern anymore," he said with a wicked smile.
She returned the smile and replied with, "Well, in that case..."

One thing led to another...

and Titania Summerdream became the newest member of the household.

There was just something about that red hair and make-up that grabbed Breagadoir's attention.
He liked her even more after she changed her wardrobe...

Sorry, Breagadoir, I don't think that counts as clown makeup.
But all in all, a lot of overwhelming and interesting stuff. I very much liked Damon's date. The things he said about frumpy and feeling stupid were adorable! I kind of like him now.

What a hunk! And by that, I mean all of them ;)

Awesome update. I loved the watcher update and how Breagadoir politely put her in her place. She's a handmaiden for goodness sakes. She should shut-up already!
