"So, has it gotten to the point that you can't go anywhere in town without running into one of your illegitimate children?" asked his Watcher with a sneer.
"Not quite," replied Breagadoir, "guess I'll just have to keep working on that."
"Oh, hi, Nadine," he said as he walked past the daughter he had with Zoe Durwood.
"So, I've got prom coming up soon, what exciting things do you have going on?" Sotal asked his brother Diahl.
"I learned how to make a stink potion, so I'll be making more of those today."
"You make me so proud," said the heir with a smile.
Breagadoir continues to bond with Surtur. "It would have been cooler if you'd been an armored black dragon," said the prince. "Now, seek."
"What is he seeking?" asked the Watcher.
"Nothing that concerns you," said the elf. "Why don't you rattle off your pointless update and I'll pretend to listen?"
With a sigh, the Watcher began her update.
"Well," she began, "your brother had a lovely blonde come over to visit..."
"Really?" asked Breagadoir. "Perhaps there's hope for him after all."
"As she was the next ranked chess opponent," she said, completing the thought. "He's reached tier two now, and need to reach tier five to achieve his lifetime wish."
"How typical, yet disappointing," said the elven prince with a shake of his head.
Surtur found what he had been sent to seek. She's not Harlequin, but she
is a Goth.
After his chat with the Goth ghost, Breagadoir ran into a familiar face.
"The statue sold for more than I expected," she told the prince.
"Both of mine sold for quite a lot too," he told her with a smile.
For Breagadoir's teen sons, the day of prom finally arrived.
Damon got into a fight, but had some awesome prom pictures with him as he was escorted off school grounds.
Sotal managed to rig the voting and walked out that night as the prom king.
However, each boy left with something more that night...
