The Elven Town Jump-The Gift Arrives
« Reply #271 on: June 16, 2013, 01:04:57 PM »

A late wedding gift had finally arrived at Breagadoir's household.

"You are an egg," Breagadoir stated, "you are no good to me this way and you need to hurry up and hatch!"

Dahlia had a new look.  Not on purpose.

"Demarco!!!"

"Demarco," said his mother, "I am very disappointed with you!"
"The name's Sotal, not Demarco," the young heir corrected her.

"You are grounded, young man!!" said the angry fairy.
"Okay, obviously we're both too involved in this situation and emotions seem to be flaring.  I suggest a neutral third party be involved.  Father!!  Am I grounded for pranking the maid?"
"No," answered the prince, "that was a good one.  Carry on."
"Well, that's settled," said the heir, "time to tend to the preparations for my slumber party."
Meantime, Breagadoir went to the park to do a stakeout, but got distracted from his work by the egg's movement.

This thing looks like a Brussels sprout, thought Breagadoir as he felt the egg starting to hatch.  You'd better not be some lame, purple dragon.

"Red!" observed the delighted elf.  "I shall call you Surtur."

"Speaking of newborns," said the Watcher, interrupting Breagadoir's moment, "Charmaine went into labor,"

"and she gave birth to a beautiful golden-skinned child."

"Two of them, in fact," she said, happily.

The first to arrive to the slumber party was Ella MacDuff.  "So, Miss Hamshanks keeps the answer key in the upper left drawer," she told Sotal.
"Great work!" he commended her.  "I'll distract her while Damon swipes it and then we'll all ace the test!"

"Welcome to my humble abode, Wilhemina," greeted the young heir.  This was the only girl still his age who wasn't his half-sister, so she was looking like a strong candidate for his future spouse.

"I see you've come in wolf mode," he said.  "Your fur is most becoming, my dear."

"Where shall I put the lunch money I've collected this week?" Matilda Maldano asked her half-brother.
"The bottom drawer of my desk, if you would please," he replied.
"What was that about?" Wilhemina asked.
"Your eyes certainly sparkle in the moonlight," he said.
She replied with, "I love the moonlight!"

No, this isn't a friendly game a tag.  Damon is simply practicing outrunning people so he can escape the police later on.

"Hi, Ella," said her father.
"Hi, dad," she said, "Damon wanted me to sleep upstairs by his room!"
"That's nice."

And it was nice...for Damon.  It made copying her homework that much easier.

I can't wait for teenage Damon and Sotal! I'm not sure which one I like better, but one of them is definitely my favorite.

That first golden-skinned boy's blanket looks surprisingly pink :o must be the lighting.

I love this little ring they have going on. Evil must run in the genes.

They do become even more fun as teens (as you'll see in the coming week).

Oh, those two!
Yeah, they are definitely a duo.  I don't think Sottal would be nearly as effective on his own.

Oh, there's a typo.  It's supposed to say "golden-skinned child," not boy.  My bad.  I'll go fix that right now.
Yeah, Breagadoir gave Sotal a nice little army of spies and schemers  :=)

You're brilliant, Pippin, simply magnificent.

An army of un-brainwashed child schemers, why didn't I think of that?!

Yep, perfect update for Father's Day, right?

Brainwashed, unbrainwashed, does it really make that much difference?

Not really, but yours at least have the potential to be interesting characters, the only interesting ones I have are the sane ones  ;D

Generation Two has come into their own :)

I love the new developments. Breagadoir must be so proud with all his children pulling together to mete out chaos and destruction to the unsuspecting townies. Or maybe the townies do suspect. Apples don't fall far from the tree and these kids are some rotten apples ;D

I have no doubt you have some interesting twists coming from the puppet children on the moon.

Yeah, I enjoy how all his kids are autonomously interacting and befriending each other.  Poor Moonlight Falls.  Generation Two is staking their claim  :=)

The Elven Town Jump-The Advancing of Age
« Reply #282 on: June 17, 2013, 11:20:50 AM »

"Alainn has given birth to twins," the Watcher informed the prince.  "One of them came out as a beautiful pink elf.  A perfect heir!"
After the update, Breagadoir was back to work as an investigator.  He had been contacted by Joe MacDuff, who apparently had some issues with Zoe Durwood.  Breagadoir had some issues with the appearance of Joe's sister Felicity, but not so much his sister Faith.

The issue with Zoe was minimal, but just for fun, the investigator locked her in the men's bathroom at the public library.

Then he checked in briefly with Joe before becoming better acquainted with his sister.

The young lady had a great sense of humor.  She was easy on the eyes too.

Seems she had taken a liking to the prince.

An enthusiastic liking...to the married prince.

Back at the house, something important was happening,

Diahl had finally outgrown toddler status.

"I am about to age up, too," said Sotal, "so I have some 'business endeavors' I want you to take over on the elementary level."

"In fact," said the heir, "I think I'm going to age up right now."
Emelie simply enjoyed that they were having a party.

"Seems I've imitated Father's hairstyle," he said.  "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say.  We'll see what he thinks."

"This outfit, on the other hand," he observed,

"needs to be changed."
The heir is now a teen, and only one age up away from getting started on his Lifetime Wish.

Hmmm. I wish there was an emoticon for my thinking face. It is highly amusing.

Wow. The boys look so much alike. And that Breagadoir! Why is he still going around making babies? Or at least, practicing at them. He's such a charmer. I'd like hate to meet him in real life ;)

Great update ;D
