Hahahaha! The Crumplebottoms can't skip town because they don't have a car anymore  ;D

I think Breagadoir might be cheating death, therefore his LTW is completable.   ???

Nice wedding present. Why haven't the Crumplebottoms split town yet? Their life has to be miserable at this point ;D

Is it fair to ask how far along Breagadoir has gotten on his LTW? I'm starting to get nervous...

Great update!
Breagadoir is making progress on his LTW.  He'll get there eventually, but they can't leave town until Sotal has completed his anyway.

What is his LTW?
It's the private investigator one where you solve 35 cases.  He has done 5 or 6.

Yes, death is being cheated, and no, the Crumplebottoms no longer have a car  :=)

The Elven Town Jump-The Wedding Gift, Part 2
« Reply #212 on: June 11, 2013, 04:23:46 PM »

Emelie found Belinda at home.  As a special bonus, she found Bianca there too.  It was quite the time saver for the young vampire.

"May I help you?" said Belinda, after inviting their guest in.
"Sure, I could shave your back and make a sweater," replied the Lady VanGould.

She then showed the witch her fangs.  Assertively.

Finally, an Ad Nauseum elixir to finish Belinda off.

While Belinda spilled the contents of her stomach, Emelie went into the kitchen to chat with Bianca.

"Hanging out in the kitchen all the time might lead to rampant snacking," the vampire told the witch.

"and that could lead to,"

"serious weight gain."
And thus, the Lady VanGould gave her husband-to-be the best gift she could think of:  terror and hatred played out upon his enemies.

Amusingly, there was a whole lot of "Team Nightmare" sentiment not too long ago, but look how everyone is taking so nicely to Emelie now  :=)

The Elven Town Jump-The Wedding Day Arrives
« Reply #220 on: June 12, 2013, 09:22:59 AM »
The day of the wedding finally arrived.  Dahlia had her hands full trying to get the food arranged, the chapel set up, and watch young Diahl, who was a bit needy.

The groom arrived in the chapel to the sound of violins.  I should make one of my heirs learn to play violin, he thought as he walked up the aisle, glaring down his guests.

The lovely undead bride came in and took her place by her betrothed.

She was quite pleased.  He was indifferent.

The couple exchanged vows in front of the guests brave enough...or foolish enough...to attend.
"I, Emelie VanGould, the Lady VanGould, the supreme vampire lady, do take thee, Breagadoir...I don't actually know your last name..."
"Let's just skip to the part where we say, 'I do,' shall we?" the prince suggested.

Cheering erupted as the couple kissed, perhaps caused by the knowledge that Emelie's lengthy vows had ended, and then the festivities moved next door to the reception.

The Lady VanGould took straight to the dance floor and showed the assembled masses that she could do more than ballroom dancing.

Someone had the nerve to make a snow angel right outside the chapel.

Breagadoir did not approve.

The reception was a joyous affair,

and Dahlia even made a friend.

And Breagadoir made her new friend into a toad.
"Don't worry, surely some foolish girl will think you'll turn into a prince," laughed Breagadoir.

Then he started a fire.

Which Argus Brown extinguished.

Immediately thereafter, Breagadoir was turning Chauncey Grimm into a toad.
"That look toadally works for you," said the prince.
"Hey, what's the big idea?" asked Argus, foolishly standing up to the prince.

"You put out my fire," said Breagadoir, "and I'm very put out by that!"
But the three would-be foes banded together

to boo and jeer when Deedee Wynn entered.

However, Chauncey was later found chatting her up.  "So would you believe I am really a handsome prince?" he asked.
"No," she replied.  "Not really."

Emelie glared down Deedee and Dahlia as she walked up to her new husband.

Diahl had slept through the entire reception.

They will both serve their purposes, the prince thought contentedly as they slow danced.

I didn't think it was actually possible for Breagadoir to get any worse, but he has.

That poor baby was knocked out! I like the sound they make when their little heads hit the floor ::)  Perhaps Breagadoir thought the baby would get out safely when the whole place caught on fire, hmm?  Perhaps not ;)

Emelie better watch herself. Breagadoir isn't really a loyal type of guy, lol. Oh yeah, not to chew on the grape soda that was made from the moldy lemons, but why wasn't Nightmare invited :'(

Great update!
