I like Emelie and Breagadoir together, better than him and Nightmare.  I see perhaps an heir from Emelie?

The Elven Town Jump-The Heir is Chosen
« Reply #182 on: June 09, 2013, 01:19:11 PM »

It was a very special day for two potential heirs.

It was a nerve-wracking day for the mother of one heir as she knew the choice would be made today.

Her little Demarco aged up first.

Awkwardly.

Next up was Diahl,

but his father was not focused on him.  Demarco had grabbed his father's attention.  "From now on, you shall be known as 'Sotal,'" said the proud papa.
"Sotal?" asked his mother (also known as the maid).
"In the tongue of my homeland, it means 'pride,'" explained the prince.

"He may have named you 'Sotal,'" said his mother when they were alone, "but you'll always be my little Demarco."
"No, I won't," he replied.  "I am Sotal, and aren't you simply the maid?"

"Hopefully," she responded, hesitantly, "I will be something more."

"Your brother," said the Watcher, delivering her update, "has defeated a ranked chess opponent.  The opponent was a fairy."

"Apparently," she continued, "this detail grabbed Charmaine's imagination,"

"and she ran straight to the elixir shoppe,"

"and ended up with adorable pink wings!"
"Are you ready?" asked Emelie, walking into the room.
"Absolutely," said the elven prince with a smile.

This is the tiny hovel where Annalove and her kids (excluding Damon) have ended up.

Emelie insisted on paying them a visit.  She noticed they didn't have a fireplace.

As it was winter, and they might get cold, she had Breagadoir start a fire for them.

Emelie either experienced laughter or nausea.

Breagadoir simply admired his handiwork.

Annalove and Nightmare did not admire it nearly as much.

I bet you get a notice that they've died in a fire. I am willing to bet that was nausea. And why and how has Charmaine changed colours?

Nice update. So the maid just got promoted to Mother-of-the-Heir. She'd better take that and learn to enjoy just that. Breagadoir has moved on.

Question, once the heir is chosen, is it possible that he, as in Breagadoir, change his mind? Not trying to get spoilers, but I don't trust that handsome elf one bit. No, siree.

I like the name Sotal. I wonder if he's going to end up booting Emelie out on her unflattering ponytails ;D

And I wonder if Caoin having a kid with fairy wings as an heir, will make him a more suitable choice for the king and queen to cheat with. They are rooting for him *mumbles about the unfairness of it all*

Anyhow, I guess I have to wait to find out!

Now, back to the task you've set me to ;)

How did I miss this?

Pippin, you're doing great  ;D

I don't trust Breagadoir either, he's a slippery little soap colored elf.

Where are you getting these names?

Unfair? Unfair?! The other two are too nice to cheat like Breagadoir has  :P

Yes, it's unfair. The king and queen are going to 'pull' something, just as he's about to win, to switch up the game. After all, they raised Breagadoir and he had to learn to be devious from some place.

Soap colored? Lol. Like Zest, or better yet, Irish Springs? Mwahaha.

Breagadoir must be infinitely more devious than his family, presuming one of them even CAN be devious. William had do-gooder parents  ;)

Charmaine was a zombie when we first saw her, then she aged up after he ensorcelled her to save everyone and I added he blue to her hair t that point, but that's the only change in her coloring.

Once chosen, the heir remains the heir.  There is no contingency in the rules for the founder to change their mind on the heir.  Once named, the heir remains the heir.

Thanks!  The names are Gaelic words.  Seemed a nice language for my elven crew to use.

Hmm, interesting read into the parents.

Devious is a language Breagadoir speaks fluently  :=)

Oh, I use body wash, I suppose that's why I missed the reference.

Congratulations on being chosen as heir, Sotal.  Let's hope you serve Breagadoir nicely.
Oh, Breagadoir has some lovely plans for this one  :=)

Sotal is a fantastic name. But what surprised me most was that Breag smiled at Emilie. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure he's only ever smirked at anything/one. But again, smile or not, I can't imagine Lady Nosferatu lasting longer than she's useful.

Hahhha, Pippin already put the kabash on the pigtail argument when I whined about them. But I'm sure your opinion is held a little bit higher than mine. xD

Yeah, he does have more of a tendency to smirk or laugh derisively.  He and Emelie seem to tolerate each other quite nicely thus far  :=)

Of course your opinion matters, Hearts!  I just don't have an issue with Lady VanGould rocking the piggy tails  :=)
