I'm surprised Breag doesn't have 50K already, what with all his money scheming. But, if he doesn't, I imagine he's really not that far away. Especially not with Emilie's money on the way.

If she brought a car, he's there. They have two, both worth well over 50,000 Simoleons.

Nice Updates, something is telling me that there is more to the reporter than meets the eye.
Charmaine is definitely interesting.

While his siblings marry for love, Breagadoir Breagadoirs for money  ;D
Of course he does.  He knows the finances and fiancés are almost the same word.

He does.  He just likes money  :=)

His Sylvan Motorcarriage just about takes care of it by itself  :=)

He's a crafty one...Pippin, not Breagadoir.

I really wish he wouldn't marry emelie. Another 'joint less bank account' should do the trick!

No one ever said he was going to marry her. They said mistress, not wife.

Pshh, he already did the "joint bank account" trick.  Why just do a repeat?

True.  That was the phrasing used.

"...and your brother at least knows how to be faithful," said the Watcher, continuing her berating of Breagadoir, "In fact,"

"your parents even got him a wedding gift:  a baby dragon!"
"What color?" asked the prince.

"Umm, purple," replied the Watcher, shocked that Breagadoir was even listening.
"Interesting, now if you'll excuse me..."
Breagadoir decided to be a gracious lord of the manor and see his guests out.

Granted, said "guests" were the family he was kicking out of his home.

"Come on, kids," said Annalove, "he's obviously gotten all he wanted from us.  Looks like we're on our own now."
But Breagadoir did take a brief moment to whisper something to Nightmare as she walked past.

With the new developments in place, Breagadoir and Lady VanGould set off to display their new partnership to the poor, unsuspecting citizens of Moonlight Falls.

The first stop was a visit to the Crumplebottom household.

Belinda was the only one home.

So she got their full attention.
A brief stop by the library where Breagadoir's favorite target, Pip Goodfellow, was having some reading time.

"I took your wife away from you and had a baby with her," taunted Breagadoir, "I'll bet you're a bit hot under the collar over that."

"Ahahahaha!!"
"Are we ready to go yet," asked Emelie.  "I'm taking this book without checking it out."
"Wow," said the elven prince, "you are evil!"

Next, it was off to The Toadstool to spend some time with the patrons of that fine establishment.

"Have you lost weight Deedee?" asked Lady VanGould.

"Because I think I found it for you."

"Are you feeling alright, Malcolm?" asked Breagadoir, "Because you look a touch green."

Emelie was intimidating Deedee.  Breagadoir was admiring his new partner's style.

But, the bartender was disagreeing with her actions.

Breagadoir pointed out the foolishness of that judgment.
Welcome, Moonlight Falls, to the reign of Breagadoir and Lady VanGould.

Who wants some silly purple dragon when they could have a Black Armored Baby Dragon? :P

Bwahahahaha!

I tire of the Watcher. I can't wait for Breagadoir turn her into dead when this is over.

I tire of Alainn. He's such a goody goody. He will bring nothing but Snores to the elvish kingdom. Purple dragon, indeed!  Snickers.

My wonderful Nightmare. Don't listen to him! He kicked you out. I'd make him work for it in the future! Breagadoir wants a back up plan in case things don't work out with Lady Van Dracula. She'll be the first one She Who Must Not Be Named kills when they get to MF!

Still, I love me some Breagadoir. I love how he torments the Crumpley-bottoms and taunts Pip Good-boring with fire and brimstone.

I doubt the Watcher will last the whole challenge anyway, not when there are other Watchers available.

Alainn is such a goody-two shoes. He's like Superman compared to Breagadoir's Joker, big purple boy scout versus the psychotic Breagadoir.

Ahahahaha! I prefer Ms. Van Story-Sucker (She's always a sucker in these stories), Breagadoir can bend and control her as he wills. Nightmare was a rebellion risk.

I agree with Dolls on the last point though  :P

All in all, you're Brilliant, Pippin.

The purple dragon was the best fit for Caoin.  I would prefer the black or red dragon for someone like Breagadoir, but those wouldn't be as useful for him.

You gotta give Emilie a make-over! Those pigtails kill me, man. And I do miss that school girl outfit. -innocent-
I have no issue with her piggy tails.  They match her personality, to me.  She does play around with her wardrobe quite a bit, though.  She will change outfits in the midst of scenes and she doesn't even have the insane trait.  She acts like she does, but she doesn't.

Bwahahahaha!

Well, we have some time before this will all come to its close.  The Watcher just might find herself a target when he returns, but there's plenty of time for him to plan how that will work.
Lady Van Dracula.  Nice.  Breagadoir is very in love with her money...I mean...her.

Alainn is the sister, Caoin is the brother.  I think you might have both gotten them confused.
I'm glad you like having Emelie in the household.  I think she's fun.
I strive for brilliance, so thanks for the affirmation  :=)

Yeah, some supportive Evil parents you are, not paying attention to who's who. I suppose only Evil people deserve to have the right names.

I don't understand why this chapter was called 'The Reign Falls'--it worried me. I thought you were stopping the story.

Falls like "Moonlight Falls."  It was intended to be a bit of a pun.  Rain and Reign, falls and Falls.  Didn't work that well, apparently.  Ah well.
