I can only hope against hope that Nightmare's baby has a MacDuff father. The other alternative is too squicky to think about.

LOL. Breagadoir is a bad, bad man...or, erra, elf

The Elven Town Jump-The Old Waterhole
« Reply #107 on: June 04, 2013, 11:42:45 AM »
"What are you up to now?" asked the Watcher in a wary tone.

"Being a pillar of the community, of course," replied the prince with a smile.  "I just purchased the old waterhole and am having it fixed up."
"You know," said his Watcher, "I don't believe you're doing anything genuinely helpful for even one minute!  Your sister, on the other hand, is actually helping her community."

"She even put out a small fire at a residence and saved the home of four roommates," she finished.
"Isn't that just peachy?" said the sarcastic prince.  "She's just the bee's knees, isn't she?"
And with that, he set off to upgrade his new property.

"Well, it's certainly interesting," said the Watcher.  "Is that a greenhouse in the middle?"
"And now," he told the Watcher, completely ignoring her question, "to show you how much I've changed, I'm going to invite members of the community, including past enemies, to a party to celebrate this new park."
"Remember to invite Emelie Van Gould's family," said Nightmare.

The guests immediately began enjoying the bonfire.

And Nightmare saved Pip Goodfellow the trouble of taking an IQ test by telling him exactly how low his brain capacity was.
At the same time, Breagadoir was showing Tristan and Ayden Van Gould the "greenhouse."  Ayden made the mistake of laughing at the young prince for not putting a roof on it.

"It gets better and purer sunlight this way," Breagadoir informed him as he exited and locked the greenhouse.

And then, Breagadoir decided to warm everyone up with a nice fire.

"Ahahaha," laughed the prince in glee.

Foolishly, everyone was lured towards the fire and the quick-thinking Alfred Hoppcraft extinguished it.  However, in the distraction, Breagadoir locked them into the enchanted (and electrified) fence.

Then, he and his young protégé sat back to watch the vampires burn in the sun and die of thirst while the other guests, full of life-sustaining plasma, suffered just out of their reach.

"I hope I get to see Emelie's face when she learns she's an orphan," laughed Nightmare.

The Elven Town Jump-The Helpful Advice
« Reply #111 on: June 04, 2013, 09:35:18 PM »

Young Peanut enjoyed school as it was his one break from indentured servitude.  In fact, he'd even made friends with Mara Nix.  He liked her.  In middle school terms, he likeliked her, but he didn't know how to talk to her.

He came home from school one day and realized he lives with the ideal mentor.

"...but you're not nasty like werewolves.  Are all elves as handsome as you?" asked the maid.
"No, some of us are just more blessed than others," replied the prince.
Oh yeah, this was a great mentor for the impressionable young boy.

"S-sir," began the timid Peanut, "may I ask you for some advice?  It's just, you see sir, I feel like such a square sometimes..."
"Because you are," offered the prince.
"Yes, sir, because I am, but I really want to get this girl, you see..."
"Are we talking about kidnapping?" asked the prince, "Because that may be your only shot."

However, the helpful prince listened in and gave the young lad some advice.
"...so, you're saying I should invite her to the Spooky Day festival and do a pompadour hairdo?" asked Peanut.
"Sure, the hairdo may draw attention away from your ugly face, Pistachio."
"Peanut," he corrected.
"Sorry?"
"My name is Peanut," Peanut clarified.
"No," answered the prince, "I'm pretty sure it's Pistachio.  I'm pretty good with names."

Peanut found himself wishing he'd brought along his umbrella.  Mara had hers, and was kind enough to have brought an extra.

"Thanks," said Pistachio...Peanut...whoever.  "It looks like...well...it's raining and...the precipitation cycle is..."
"You're welcome, Peanut," she said, with a slight chuckle at his awkwardness.

"Well, I should get going," she told him, "there seem to be zombies and I have another date."
"Another date?" he said sadly.

"You are so much better looking than that goofy boy," Mara said to her other date.
"Goofy boy?" he asked.  "You mean Pomegranate?"
"Peanut," she corrected.
"No, I'm pretty sure it's Pomegranate," he said.  "I'm pretty good with names."

"And," the prince continued, "when you age up, we'll talk about other things I'm good at."

Pomegranate...Peanut asked the prince if he could invite his young lady friend over to the house so they could get to know each other better.  Breagadoir readily agreed.

"Hello again," said Mara.
"Hello yourself," said Breagadoir.

"Hello again?" asked Peanut.
"Yeah," said Mara, "this was my other date."

Mara aged up the next day, and the Nix household had a visitor.

Peanut couldn't make it to her birthday celebration.  He had chores to do.

Breagadoir is a terrible person. Yes, I know, stating the obvious. I'm disappointed in Mara, though. Why does everyone just go along with him? I don't see him casting spells on everyone.

He's a handsome prince, and that seems enough to make a male who may have no other redeeming qualities seem desirable.  People are crazy like that.

The Elven Town Jump-The New Additions
« Reply #119 on: June 05, 2013, 11:16:53 AM »

"Your sister seems to have bounced back from her loss," said the Watcher, "and has started working towards her lifetime wish again."

"She became the girlfriend of a woman named Susan,"

"Then dumped her the next day," she added, somewhat sadly.  "That means she has been the girlfriend of two people.  Only eight more until her goal."
Breagadoir didn't even acknowledge she was speaking.

"Why are you back at the Goodfellow house?" asked the concerned Watcher.
"Just picking up something I left here," replied the prince.
"What is that supposed to mean?" she asked.
He didn't answer, he simply drove home with the "something."

"Peanut," said Breagadoir, "this might be the heir, and therefore, he's far more important than you.  You will teach him his toddler skills and make sure his needs are met or you and I will have unpleasant words.  Are we clear?"
"Umm, y-y-y-yes.  Yes, sir," stammered Peanut.
"I know this means you won't have as much time for housework," added the prince with a grin,

"So I hired on a maid."

"You made the mother of your potential heir into your maid?" asked the incredulous Watcher.
"The second rule my parents gave was 'You must find a spouse or partner in the first new land you visit.  You and this partner will give birth to an heir.  If you have multiple eligible children, you may choose which becomes the heir,' but don't you think they should have required us to at least live with said partner?" he asked innocently.  "I'm only trying to keep the family together."  And with that statement, he left chuckling to himself.

Breagadoir went back to his investigative work.  Breaking and entering is not that hard, but it seems that he enjoys being caught at it

and "talking" his way out of the situation.

Though he might enjoy ruining others' relationships even more.
Speaking of relationships, Serena Durwood seems to still have feelings for the young prince as she invited him to her costume party.

And she went into labor while Breagadoir used an Age of Instant Elixir to age up her daughter Zoe.

Even as her daughter aged up to young adult, she cradled her newborn son.  Her newborn human son.

That means that we only have one possible candidate for heir:  Demarco Goodfellow.
