Buh Bye, Aeric, lol.
Did he inherit Harlie's pyromania and immune to fire trait?
He definitely has mommy's pyromania.  Not sure if he's immune to fire or not.  He also got witchcraft from his father.

Oooh.
Yep.  That about sums it up  :=)

Hahahha, poor Aeric. He'll learn. Also, he's not required to submit to a breathalyzer. HE HAS RIGHTS.

Indeed.  It's a wonderful skill to possess.

Well, he's been studying science, not law.

Hmm. So Sotal finally finds himself--and some gumption? As Rosa would say: interesting.

I find it so funny and pleasing when people know me well enough to know what I would say. I would say that exactly. Dunno if I should be scared Dolls knows me so well .  . ;)

So, Aeric's being removed by a 'police officer', is he? Hmmm. Interesting. ;)

Loved the chapter with Leithleach and Sotal. 'Good talk'. Hahahaha.

Yes, be scared.  Be very scared.
I enjoyed the "good talk" update as well.  And yes, Officer Lindsay...because I couldn't remember what her last name was.

Officer Lindsay drove through the night and was quite exhausted, but she finally arrived at her destination.  It seemed unconventional, but Sergeant Best had specifically requested that the prisoner be delivered to this household rather than the station.

The prisoner was handed over to a beautiful elven woman, and Officer Lindsay made her way back to Appaloosa Plains.
The son of that beautiful elf had fallen from grace,

but he was confident that he could have his revenge.
His son, meantime, was being raised by his sister,

who still found time to work on her writing.

His wife was taking some time to thank the man who had helped arrange the delivery of young Aeric.

That man, of course, was her lover and boss, Sergeant Evan Best...and he was still married.

Aeric awoke to find himself in a small room...

with a locked door.

He had now dropped from favorite son to nameless captive.

Alainn is dumb as a box of pet rocks!! She's not only brought certain death upon herself, but beloved as Aeric is, he isn't the heir! She and Sotal should go casket shopping together.

Hahaha love it! Seriously, I don't think she thinks he's the heir, though. She's just doing her dear nephew a favour. For some reason. Doesn't seem to benefit her though, because she's clearing the way for the heir to get more attention and that just doesn't make sense. Unless she's assuming that Breagadoir will get so angry with Sotal that he'll refuse to help Leithleach. I think we can all agree that Sotal is the really stupid one here.

Loved the casket shopping line  ;=)

If your favored child is missing, you find yourself suddenly very distracted.  Harlequin is too awesomely powerful to be messed with, but Aeric was a good target for those looking to slow Breagadoir down.

Aww, poor Aeric. Stuck without any hope of recuse.... At the current moment. (I'm sure he'll get out at SOMEPOINT, just not sure when.)

I dunno Dexie, he appears to be trapped in a featureless box in an unknown location without any clues left to Breagadoir. Doesn't seem he has any hope of rescue unless someone has an all-seeing eye  :'(

What about the Watcher. I know it doesn't make sense, but after awhile, wouldn't she take SOME form of pity on him?

She orchestrated it.. I think. So the Watcher may not be willing to help, ever.
