Let's start of with a show of Shanta's new hairstyle and wardrobe.

I haven't actually checked what Shanta's favorite color is, but I like the light yellows and tans on her. I kept her hair short, but gave it some nice volume and got rid of that God-awful greenish color.

So what else has been going on in the Frio-Mae household? Well, everyone's moving up in their careers. Pogo is now a principal, Archer has reached the position of mayor and Jersey is a Superstar in the Pro Sports career track. It's a little frustrating moving him along because work hours keep getting shorter as he progresses, the athletic track has no "work hard" option, and Jersey isn't a workaholic; therefore not getting that career performance boost or the ability to work from home.

Sandi usually just gardens and reads and spaces out into her own little world without Lyric around to keep her occupied while the kids are working and such. She has gotten a chance to becomes friends with Shanta, who plans to just be a stay-at-home mother. She's been tutoring Shanta in gardening so she can help care for the small garden of life fruit and money trees in the backyard.

Oh, yeah, did I say "stay-at-home mother"?

Yep, there's a nooboo on the way!

Being nurturing and family-oriented, Shanta couldn't wait to announce her upcoming child to Archer. Archer, of course, was thrilled. So thrilled that after hearing the news he rushed to inform his followers on his blog whilst pondering if babies looked like jellyfish at any point in the womb.

Despite recently losing her husband, Sandi felt cheerful with the thought of a grandchild to come. She had spent most of her time at home lately, but finally got out to go see her son's game he would play in that same night that Shanta's pregnancy was announced. She even got some new garb for the occasion! Go Llamas!

Jersey skipped the carpool home from his game that evening and drove home with his proud mother, coming home to share a happy conversation and a heart-warming hug.

After a homemade dinner by Shanta the next evening, the golden sparkles Sandi came to know when she lost her husband engulfed her. Grim was arriving to collect her.

Grim arrived in the same get-up as the last time he showed. Sandi pleaded for her life as her sons cried, but it was no use. It was inevitable; she had lived 98 days, after all.

Sandi mustered the internal strength to stand, and just like that, she was gone. In her old bedroom, along with Lyric's favorite guitar, she left her video camera. The same video camera with which she dotingly took videos of her children and husband.

Obligatory Baby Post

The day after Sandi's death, as the household tries to adjust to life without her, Shanta goes into labor in the garden.

"You couldn't have waited one more day, Sandi?! I'm giving birth and the only other female that lived here is gone!"

Archer paused his video game to rush Shanta to the hospital. Jersey stayed back to express his panic and confusion to the nearest tree.

In a few hours, a new baby girl was born.

The proud parents tried to choose a meaningful name for their daughter. With the recent death of the baby's grandmother, a name relating to Sandi would be suitable. Perhaps a combination of the mother and grandmother's names... Sandi... Shanta... Santa? No, that doesn't seem right...
In the end, they named the baby Molly, after her great-grandmother and Sandi's mother, Molly French.
Pogo gifted baby Molly with Langley, his stuffed bear he'd held on to since he was transformed into a human child.

Of course both parents were thrilled with their sweet little daughter. Pogo, as an imaginary friend, was also excited to have a kid around the house again. But along with them, Jersey was happy. He was quick to bond with his little niece.

When Pogo had to go work at the school early in the morning, Shanta wanted to follow through her routine of gardening and cooking breakfast, and Archer also had work in the morning, Jersey volunteered to get up when Molly cried in the middle of the night.

Next up: Approaching Jersey's move and... Who's that lady?

I don't know who that lady is, but I think she could use a more flattering wardrobe. Also, in what way is Santa not an appropriate name?  :P

That last girl you saw was Sharon Sweet. She once was a bouncer at The Watering Hole Saloon and an NPC I thought about having Pogo date, although I just had him befriend her and invite her over every once in a while. Even when he hadn't seen her in weeks at a time and even when she reached old age, Pogo continued to have wishes to talk to her and play games with her, and through socializing with her he'd wish to flirt or kiss her. Eventually, seeing Archer married with a child and Jersey close to moving out and marrying himself, I decided to let Pogo have what he wanted. Sharon was invited over in the evening and asked to sleep over, after which she took it upon herself to lay in the bed of the deceased Lyric and Sandi. Having not played with potions very much, I tried to get Sharon to drink a Young Again potion through disguising it as a drink, but I had no option to give it to her. Therefore, drastic measures were taken.

Yeah, I'll admit it. I got rid of the bedroom door so Sharon was locked in with the only source of food being the potion disguised as a drink (also a toilet, to prevent any nighttime accidents). After having Sharon imprisoned situated, Pogo responded to the cries of loneliness from his niece and pondered his own age. Thought about the wrinkles that continued to find places on his face to appear (as you can see here).

Pogo had a one-sided discussion about the subject with his niece, and her lack of reaction was all of the motivation he needed to down one of the young again potions Sandi stocked up before her death.

Also, before too late the next morning Sharon had drank her Young Again potion. Glad to know that method works!

Pogo eagerly took his with a "Heat of the Moment Kiss", and it turned out Sharon had liked Pogo all along, too. She reciprocated with pleasure.

Pogo proposed that same morning, and Sharon was pleased to accept.

Not interested in causing a scene, Pogo only gave Archer and Jersey quick hugs before marrying and leaving with Sharon that evening. He was sure to see them plenty through visits and just around town, anyway. And off the couple went in Sharon's Sloppy Jalopy to her house, the old Goth home.

In other news, Molly aged up to a toddler the day after Pogo's departure. Here she is in Llamas pajama-set from Uncle Jersey.
She got Shanta's tan complexion, Archer's dark green eyes and the trademark Frio red hair from Grandpa Lyric.

Oh, and speaking of Jersey, he's finally reached the top of his career and has become a Sports Legend. Now he's officially qualified to marry Lucinda, move, and start the next generation.

Jersey's 10-item collection consisted of heart-cut gems, which he displayed in the upstairs hallway. Here he is with half of his collection.

After a day to rest and have his goodbyes with his brother, sister-in-law, and niece...

...Jersey went out into the world to find Lucinda.

I love that recessive genes don't exist in Sims.

Yeah, but it does help that red hair spread around town! Hahaha. Maybe everyone just has that red hair gene stored away somewhere!

Congrats in the move! I'm glad to see that method working, I need to try it myself. :)

Thanks! Yeah, I was pretty excited, I thought it might not work. But it did.

Turns out Lucinda has now taken over working at the Consignment Shop. Jersey visited and got to flirt with her, but she just didn't have an option for proposal.

Jersey jogged around the neighborhood for a while until Lucinda's shift was over, then came back and proposed. I'm afraid you'll have to excuse the poor lighting.

The couple married quickly in the Consignment Shop, eager to move on and start their lives together. As soon as they got home, they moved out the elderly Elliot Grant (who Lucinda turns out to have a bad relationship with), redesigned the home a little (which I didn't bother to show, because I changed up some rooms and all but there weren't any DRASTIC changes), and gave Lucinda a makeover. That part I did show, because I'm sorry, but I really couldn't handle the hair she ended up with after reaching adulthood. Her favorite color is pink, but I like the red on her.

Also, before her makeover, I gave Lucinda a Young Again potion. So it is understood, I used Jersey's mostly untouched Lifetime Happiness points to buy two Young Again potions, so he was allowed to take them when he moved.

By the time they were settled in, it was late and the newly married couple went to bed, but not without some honeymooning.

The next day, Jersey invited Pogo and his wife, Sharon, over to see his new home.

Sharon left soon after arriving. Turns out she took over Lucinda's job as the Consignment Specialist after she got married.

Pogo and Jersey proceeded to go play about the backyard while Lucinda went out to do some shopping.

Well, boys will be boys.

Lucinda started showing her pregnancy the next day, and Jersey met her with plenty of backrubs.

Lucinda's pregnancy went smoothly, aside from the initial morning sickness. I honestly hadn't seen much of her traits before marriage other than "ambitious" and "over emotional". Turns out she's also a loner, natural cook, and has a green-thumb. I expected her to be a little more of a "party mom", but it looks like she's just meant to be a settled down, housekeeping mother. Even without the family-oriented trait, Lucinda received constant wishes to buy things for the upcoming baby and to read pregnancy books, even after she'd already read the only two in existence. She enjoyed visiting the library to read up on gardening, cooking, and parenting.

Well, what else has been going on? Well, a burglar visited the home, allowing me to find out about a weird little glitch with the new house.
As I've posted about elsewhere, the police officer arrived and brought the burglar out to the car... He came back inside to survey the house... Then changed into swimwear.

I thought he might go swimming in the pool in the backyard or play in the sprinkler, but he seemed to change his mind and switch into not his uniform, but general everyday clothes. He proceeded to stroll on out of the house, load the criminal in the car, and drive away.

Well, while it was a strange occurrence, it wasn't too strange. Until everyone that stepped foot on to the lot, including the mail and newspaper deliverers, went through the same process of changing clothes and running off after performing their duties.

Also, I had Jersey go check on Archer, Shanta, and Molly. Molly's still a toddler; it's only been a few days since she's aged to a toddler, believe it or not.

Archer has become a mayor, and releases the stress of political duties by jumping on the trampoline.

Shanta uses the whiteboard in Jersey's old room (originally for planning sports plays) to give lectures to absolutely no one.
Can you see that new outfit and little bump? Looks like another kid is on the way.

And Lyric and Sandi... Well, they're doing just fine.

Coming up next: The third heir!

I'd take it as a good thing that Jersey is getting all the streaking out of his system prior to having a child. Better than afterwards.

Soon enough, Lucinda went into labor.

Lucinda gave birth at home.....Finally to a little baby girl!

Meet our 3rd heir(ess), Ivory. She's artistic and neurotic. She's also very smiley, which I think is adorable.

But it was only a day or so until Lucinda started showing symptoms again...

Vomiting, forgetfulness when it comes to cleaning... Yup, another pregnancy!
Ivory's infant days were rather uneventful and therefore I don't have screenshots to show for it, but after a few more days Lucinda, again, gave birth in her home...

And we have Leo, genius and good!

After Leo was born, Jersey took a day off to stay home with the kids so Lucinda could go shopping, to the spa, or whatever her heart desired. Over at the Day Spa she spotted Pogo, and amazingly, some non-elder Sims!

The one in tan is an adult stylist, Sheena Cassilas. We've already met her; she was one of our NPC friends for the last generation. The teenager is her daughter. Later on I found out that there's another member of the family--a teen boy! It turns out they all live in the old Landgraab house.

Back on to our own household news. The day after Leo was born, it was time for Ivory to age up. I didn't throw a party, but I did try to celebrate a bit with a birthday cake that evening... As Jersey was bringing Ivory to the cake, he set her down on the ground halfway there and she aged up on her own. But here she is, after a hair and clothes change!

She's pretty darn cute. She has her mother's eye color and she picked up the Frio hair!
I planned for her to have a wardrobe mostly white with yellow in it before she was born or I chose a name. Funnily enough, her favorite color actually ended up being yellow.
Here's the outfits she ended up with:

I really love her. She still has such a charming smile!

Ivory will never be able to say that she wasn't doted upon. :)

To end this chapter, I'd like to say that I've found that Pogo's son has aged up to a toddler. He isn't considered part of the family tree so I don't have quite as easy access to him as I do to Archer's kids, but I did get to finally see him. He looks just like his father. Turns out the kid's name is Kelley.

And now I have a question in advance: I don't see anything in the rules about it and they're not actually related, but would it be frowned upon to later on have Ivory and Kelley married? Not saying I plan to do that at all, it's more of a hypothetical!

The rules don't mention anything about this, and since they're not related, you could theoretically marry them. The only thing at sake is your own personal state of mind, really.  :P

Kelley was a part of the previous household, though, so you can't move him in or move in with him again.

Oh, is he considered part of a previous household? Even though he wasn't born until he was in a completely different household and lot?

If the mother was pregnant at any time while she was in the household, then her unborn child is considered once a part of the household too.
