What's happened since the last update? Well...
Lyric got himself a new snake named Octave.
Unfortunately, Apollo died not long after. I think it's because he wasn't played with enough, because he was always fed and his cage was always clean. Lyric's pretty torn up about it.
On the bright side, a new snake was found to ease the pain a little. Meet our yellow slithery friend, Arpeggio.
Lyric also found his natural talent for dancing.
Connor doesn't really understand, but if it makes Lyric happy and keeps him out of trouble, so be it.
Over at city hall, Zelda was given a Service Award for her gardening prowess. Unfortunately, everyone was too busy protesting police cars to notice. At least they weren't protesting the Loch Ness Monster again.
Zelda felt the urge to throw a party to celebrate her award. Formal attire required.
Here's the eggs:
As you can see, Cypress has officially mastered the "Uncle Jared Face".
But just a few hours before the party was to start, Connor just
had to try to repair his laptop...
Two firefighters had to come to put the fire out. Actually, the firefighters didn't even help! The fire was put out by Zelda and the Handywoman.
After that party, nobody was keen on another too soon, so poor Cypress aged up uneventfully in his bedroom, in front of the block table.
He is indeed a bit of a strange one. You can definitely see Zelda in him. He picked up the "Bookworm" trait.
Had to dress him like a nerdy little guy. Sorry, Cypress! I'll make you a hunk on your young adult birthday, I swear!
His hobbies include having picnics in the park...
Pranking Connor before school...
Fishing and watching the wild horses by the waterfall...
...And freaking out.
Two more birthdays occurred not too long after Cypress'!
First was Zelda's elder birthday. No party, but Jamey Keaton came over to visit, do homework, and have some cake.
She handled this birthday a lot better than her adult birthday.
I think she looks cute!
And then, there was Lyric's birthday.
I love him, he's absolutely adorable!!
He has one more outfit that's just a t-shirt and jeans that I forgot to take a picture of. Yes, he is indeed rocking a purple snakeskin jacket.
And let me end this with Uncle Jared, newly elder, dancing in his jockey outfit on the counter.
