Also, in case anyone is interested the expansions I have installed are World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Pets, Seasons, University, and I just bought and installed Generations yesterday. :) I have celebrities and vampires turned off because they irritate me, and as for seasons, I have it set to straight summer, 28 days for a year.

Cypress looks like he wants the Evil trait. With those eyebrows, he could pull it off. ;)
I just found you dynasty and I'm loving it! Looking forward to more!

Lyric loves his baby brother now that he's allowed to see him.

He's also established quite the imagination.

He even found himself his own pet snake named Apollo, after both the Greek and Roman gods of music and poetry.

But alas, it's time to leave the child years behind and have our heir become a teenager.

A remodeling of Lyric's room...

And here's the young man himself!

Yup, that's Connor's child, alright. He picked up the Ambitious trait.

Just a shot of Lyric and Apollo ;)

And despite being older and more independent, Lyric is still attached to his little brother, Cypress.

Speaking of Cypress, guess what time it is!

Note: Something funny I noticed... Never have I had a Sim's favorite be genetic, but I just realized Cypress and Lyric seemed to pick up favorite foods and music from their parents! They both have indie as their favorite music genre like their mother and they both have fish and chips and their favorite food like their father. Colors weren't carried down. Zelda has pink, Connor gray, Lyric spiceberry, and Cypress irish green.

Here's Cypress as a child. He's picked up a knack for fishing. I'll be the first to say his face still looks a bit... Strange... But he still has time to grow into it, I suppose. I think a lot of children look awkward in the face, anyway. XD

Here's Cypress' room all set up...

Oh, and that night, when everyone was in bed, it was also time for Connor to finally age up to adult.

He took it a lot better than Zelda did on her birthday. :)

So what goes on after this? Well, now Lyric and Cypress get to go to school together in the mornings.

Little Cypress seemed to pick up the Uncle Jared face.

Cypress is practicing his fishing. He has such easy access to the beach from his home. :)

Zelda is making friends and gardening. She's reached her Lifetime Wish, The Perfect Garden and is up to level 8 in her gardening career.

Lyric is learning to drive...

It's an extremely stressful situation for him and his father both.

When he isn't chatting with his family or avoiding vehicle wreckage, Connor continues to write. He's currently working on a mystery novel titled "Busy With Chollimas".

Lyric went to prom and had a very eventful night. He didn't have a date, got rejected for a dance, got in a fight, picked on a nerd that fought back (so I guess that's two fights?), yet still managed to be selected as Prom King!

Well, I hope Lyric enjoyed himself at the prom, all things considered. I like your makeovers of Lyric and Cypress. I think Cypress will grow into his face when he gets older. I personally think Lyric looks much better as a teen than as a child. His features complement each other on the face now that it's bigger.

What's happened since the last update? Well...

Lyric got himself a new snake named Octave.

Unfortunately, Apollo died not long after. I think it's because he wasn't played with enough, because he was always fed and his cage was always clean. Lyric's pretty torn up about it.

On the bright side, a new snake was found to ease the pain a little. Meet our yellow slithery friend, Arpeggio.

Lyric also found his natural talent for dancing.

Connor doesn't really understand, but if it makes Lyric happy and keeps him out of trouble, so be it.

Over at city hall, Zelda was given a Service Award for her gardening prowess. Unfortunately, everyone was too busy protesting police cars to notice. At least they weren't protesting the Loch Ness Monster again.

Zelda felt the urge to throw a party to celebrate her award. Formal attire required.
Here's the eggs:

As you can see, Cypress has officially mastered the "Uncle Jared Face".

But just a few hours before the party was to start, Connor just had to try to repair his laptop...

Two firefighters had to come to put the fire out. Actually, the firefighters didn't even help! The fire was put out by Zelda and the Handywoman.

After that party, nobody was keen on another too soon, so poor Cypress aged up uneventfully in his bedroom, in front of the block table.

He is indeed a bit of a strange one. You can definitely see Zelda in him. He picked up the "Bookworm" trait.

Had to dress him like a nerdy little guy. Sorry, Cypress! I'll make you a hunk on your young adult birthday, I swear!

His hobbies include having picnics in the park...

Pranking Connor before school...

Fishing and watching the wild horses by the waterfall...

...And freaking out.

Two more birthdays occurred not too long after Cypress'!

First was Zelda's elder birthday. No party, but Jamey Keaton came over to visit, do homework, and have some cake.

She handled this birthday a lot better than her adult birthday. :)

I think she looks cute!

And then, there was Lyric's birthday.

I love him, he's absolutely adorable!!

He has one more outfit that's just a t-shirt and jeans that I forgot to take a picture of. Yes, he is indeed rocking a purple snakeskin jacket.

And let me end this with Uncle Jared, newly elder, dancing in his jockey outfit on the counter.

So many birthdays! Do you have a close-up on Cypress? I'm curious to see the resemblence to his parents, though I can sort of tell in the other screenshots.

Yes, I do! I actually meant to put it in, but it looks like I just doubleposted on picture instead haha. I'll put that right in there below his clothing pics. :)

Ah, there it is! Thanks. Cypress does look a bit more like Connor then I expected, though there's hiding the fact that Zelda's his mother.

Just a small something I had to post before the next update... So Cypress went to his prom. Met a girl he had sparks with named Shanna... Then later, this notice comes up!

I thought it was really funny because I've never seen any MalexMale relationships in Sism 3 that I didn't direct myself. Or it may just be a typo and a Sim of any gender ends up being rejected by a "guy"? I'm not sure, I've only had Generations for a little while. But anyway, yeah, I thought it was a little funny. Cypress is experimenting tonight. ;D

Oh, and don't mind Connor and Zelda over there.

After his party, Lyric quickly applied as a fan in the music career.

When Lyric aged up, he decided he wanted to become a rockstar. He wants to master the art of guitar playing and become rich and famous. Autograph signings and rehearsals by day, concerts and screaming fans by night.

He knows he first has to get through being something of a servant to the current musicians to be able to surpass them, and it's fine with him, as long as he has his guitar by his side and his dream to hold on to.

Lyric got the call to go graduate while he was playing guitar at the park. He didn't want to run over to the school, he wanted to make music! He changed into his robes in the middle of the park, tossed his diploma about, then the celebration was over for him. Hopefully it won't be a memory he'll regret missing later in life...

But there was another reason Lyric didn't want to leave the park...

Here's Sandi French, still a young adult and not looking bad. The mouth is a little small, but we can work with it. It's only the first heir and I was having a rough time finding a girl Lyric's age or a bit older to work with. But I think Sandi is pretty good for him. I had him talk to her a little about music and art. After asking her about her sign, he immediately got a wish to kiss her. I think it's a match. I'm not sure of all of her traits, but I do know she's at least excitable and slobby. Slobs aren't very appealing to me, but we can work with it.

Lyric invited Sandi over to his home and they continued to just build their friendship rather than go further. Lyric invited Sandi to stay over for the night, and she slept in his bed with him. Nothing more, nothing less.

The next morning, Sandi actually started flirting with Lyric on her own. I decided to let them pursue their relationship and granted Lyric a wish.

Not long after Sandi stated she had to leave, Lyric wrote her a love letter. That's the dreamiest expression I've seen in a while. :)

With Lyric playing guitar in the park so often, I've gotten to see how a lot of Townies progressed.
Here's Bella Bachelor and Gage Briody dancing to Lyric's guitar tunes.

I was considering Bella as a future wife for Lyric, but something about her just wasn't doing too much for me.

And here's our handsome friend, Arlo Bunch...

And Lisa and Ethan Bunch.

Okay, so how about an update on little bro Cypress? Here he is getting ready for prom... No date because I've been focused on trying to find someone for Lyric.

He had a pretty good time. Like his brother, Cypress ended up being Prom King. He found a girl he was interested in named Shanna Hinojosa. He didn't end up in any fights, but he was rejected for a dance by the most popular guy in school. All in all, it was a good time.

Cypress has also been dabbling in Science, Gardening and Fishing. This is resulted in him receiving and accepting the Lifetime Wish of becoming a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder as a teenager.

He seems to definitely have a knack for science. He hasn't had any experiment failures yet and he's already created a Plasma Bug at just level two of the Science skill. He has it sitting in his room to observe, waiting until he has a high enough skill to clone it.

Next Up: Birthdays, Property Purchases, and a Proposal!

Lyric is moving on quickly with his life. His relationship with Sandi is going very well. He proposed to her at his home one morning before work.

"Sandi French, will you marry me after I become an adult and finish all of these requirements the sky has given me before I can move out? By the way, I have to move into your house."

She seems to be just fine with that. True. Love.

Lyric has purchased and upgraded his property. Here's Stoney Falls:

He's also purchased Hogan's Deep-Friend Diner and renamed it to Little Jukebox Diner.

Cypress aged up to a young adult with his father by his side.

He really wants that "cool" look I promised, so I tried to go a bit less nerdy with his look this time.
Is this cool enough?

With his new age-up, Cypress' room was remodelled.

Cypress is working on the garden along with his mother. I think soon I'll have him take over caring for it completely and give the produce to his mother to sell for her career. Cypress does have an apple tree that's entirely his own. He likes to talk to it.

Cypress invited his romantic interest, Shanna Hinojosa, over to chat. Since he's a young adult and she's still a teenager, they just had a friendly conversation. She looks like she's from Egypt, but she's not a tourist. She actually turned out to be a babysitter. Sigh. But I guess for Cypress is doesn't really matter. If I want her to be with him, I can always age her up and move in and her aging will adjust.

She has a very cute face, though. Her eyes are actually a light purple color, even though they look more gray in this shot.

The same day, Zelda and Lyric were hanging over at the newly made-over Stoney Falls. Evening was approaching, so back at home Cypress and Connor decided to head over and join them with Stephenie Ursine next door and Shanna so they could all have a barbecue dinner together.

There was more than one picnic table, but Shanna was more interested in the slip-n-slide and sprinkler and Stephenie wanted to go fishing.

After eating and relaxing a bit, the Frio family headed home, letting Shanna and Stephenie stay to enjoy themselves. While walking in the door, Connor aged up.

He isn't too thrilled. Probably because now he has to give up his sweater vest-leather jacket duo. Elder clothing sure can be discouraging.

All of the most professional scientists work in swim shorts, barefoot and shirtless! Haha!  ;D I find a lot of humor in it because I'm in a vocational school with Chemical Laboratory as my "shop", and the teacher is always telling someone to put on closed-toe shoes or a labcoat.
Found him playing in the sprinkler while he was supposed to be working. For shame!

Just making sure you know that you can only age up Sims im your own household and only on their actual birthday. If that was your plan with her, then you could move her in first, wait for birthday, and then age up. (which I think is your intention anyway) Just make sure you don't age her up outside of the household.
