As for your question, if an heir SuperMaxes a skill, no other heir can get that skill up to level 10, even if the skill challenges are not completed. If Lyric was to SuperMax guitar, then no other heir could max Guitar at all. However, this only applies to the heirs. Zelda, for example, could max Guitar if she felt like it, but Lyric's child could not.

Yeah, as long as you keep Lyric from learning other skills, that will go a long way with helping with Guitar. It might take a little longer to have Lyric move out, but it could still work.

Connor loves his new baby boy.




And Zelda has lost the baby chub and is looking fabulous as usual!




Nothing is too different, even with the baby around... Connor still reads and writes, and Zelda likes to garden. She's reached the third level in her career after selling her first harvest at the consignment store in one evening, and it didn't even all sell in that one day! Her garden now has potatoes, limes, and onions added to it.
And Connor has finished his third book, a captivating drama titled Stuffing Magnolias. He's also on his third level in his career.




They are still just as smitten with each other. It's as if they just got together a week ago.
...Oh, wait...



Fast forward a few days, and it's both Zelda and Lyric's birthdays. This calls for a party!



Lyric ages up at the birthday cake, and believe it or not, there actually WASN'T a flood of guests rushing with noisemakers to celebrate. They were all too busy dancing. Connor was the only one to celebrate because he was holding his son up to blow out the candle on his cake, but even afterwards he simply set his son down to go to the bathroom (but of course, after the aging process was done, everyone ran for cake. Cue the foot stamping, arm flailing, and angry groans as they wait in line for it).


You know how Sims' eyes tend to get crossed when they're aging up? Lyric's stayed like this for a couple extra seconds. I was actually worried they'd stay like that, but they fixed themselves. A little side story: I've actually had a Sim adopt a horse and have it show up with it's eyes permanently stuck looking in different directions. Now you can understand why I feared I might have a child in a similar situation.


There's our first little heir

Got Lyric to quickly grow some hair and I gave him some new clothes...



As you can see, he got his father's hair and mouth. I think the nose and eye shape may be Zelda's, but I'm not sure. Lyric ended up with light brown eyes. Not sure where that came from, since his father has dark green eyes and his mother's eyes are black.

Oh, but wait! We're forgetting something!


While playing with Lyric, Zelda was interrupted to age up to an older adult.


She's not too thrilled about those parenthesis around her mouth, but she'll get over it.

After a great party and two birthdays, it's time for toddlers to go to sleep.

Oh, that is one interesting horse. 

The light brown eyes might have come from Zelda's sister, or it could just be a random mutation the game threw at you. That happens every so often. Lyric looks a lot like Connor to me, though I think he might have Zelda's eyes. It's hard to say without a close-up.

So, here's a short little update on toddler Lyric!

Realize I didn't get a very good shot of Lyric, so here's a close up.

Definitely Connor's hair and mouth, not sure about the nose yet, but I want to say Zelda's. The eye shape could turn out to be Zelda's. It's hard to say while he's so young, but they seem to be rounder than Zelda's. The eye color appears to be something just thrown in by the Sims, unless... Where's that mailman?

Oh yeah! Our mailman's actually a mailWOman.

And as we go through the toddler days, Lyric becomes a xylophone master...


His favorite toy was his xylophone, until he learned all he could from it and became uninterested. His new best friend became his Loch Ness Monster toy.


I swear there's some Scottish blood floating around in here somewhere, and me thinks it comes from Connor.

He learned how to walk...

And even how to talk!

Oh, Connor. You and your influences.

Even with balancing their careers and caring for a child, Connor and Zelda still find time for each other.




These parents absolutely love their child. Despite Lyric's love for music, I think he ended up being a bit of a daddy's boy. And as much as Connor loves his son, he's ready for him to age up. Being the one stuck emptying the potty all the time gets tiring.







Well, it seems the toddler toilet isn't going anywhere yet.

I could see Connor in that kilt from the Store so badly! 

Lyric is definitely Connor's little clone, isn't he? Looking forward to seeing the impending doom nooboo!

Usually, children of Zelda are Zelda clones, so I'm interested in seeing how the genetics combine in more kids!

To start, here's a nice close-up of Lyric, our first heir. After looking at him more throughout play I see more and more of how he looks just like his father.



Since Lyric's going to age up soon and another nooboo is on the way, the house got a little expansion for his bedroom. His favorite color is spiceberry, and since I don't usually use purple for much in Sims despite the fact I like the color, I decided to try to use it. Here's his room for now.



See that guitar there? Yep, I'm gonna be a brave soul and have the first heir Supermax guitar. I decided against it at first because I knew it could be aggravating, but I'm gonna try.

And this pic just shows where I stuck some walls to put the bedroom, right by the dining room.



And now back to the story!



Jeez Zelda, you still haven't gotten over that age thing, have you?
Oh, wait! We know what that face means!

Well, Zelda had her second child standing in the dining room on her own because Connor was busy cleaning up the old newspapers.



After an hour or so of labor in her own home with her husband having gone to bed, we have Cypress Frio! He loves the outdoors, but he's a bit neurotic. And yes, he's winking at you. He was also named by Zelda, since Frio was nowhere to be found. A nice nature-y name from a gardening mother.



A second crib had to be purchased so Cypress could share the nursery with his older brother for one day. Lyric's birthday is tomorrow.



Connor loves his second son just as much as the first. Everyone wonders if he'll be another Connor clone, or if he'll take after his mother.



And now...It's Lyric's birthday party!!









And here he is! Once again, aged up and kept his eyes crossed for longer than usual. It's a Connor clone!



Here's the outfit I chose for him... Want him to have the punky kinda look. I tried to make another, but it ended up just not looking right. But here's the one he'll wear XD



What a party



After the party, Zelda felt a bit old, so she went and got herself a tattoo.





I think it's her style.

Update: Fabulous Ms. Agnes Crumplebottom went into the Culinary track. I've never seen this from her. XD



Lyric aged up on a Saturday. Monday rolled around and it was time for his first day of school!


He's thrilled, trust me. He has the Having a Blast moodlet.

Look at him, growing up so fast!

Where's everyone else on this bus?!

Don't worry, Lyric lived through school and made it home to tell the tale. He also brought a classmate home! Potential future spouse??



No, just Claire Ursine's daughter, Stephenie, whose father is Jared, meaning she's Lyric's cousin. There's one off the list.

Since a birthday party was recently thrown for Lyric, Cypress aged up rather uneventfully in the nursery. At least Connor stayed around this time.



Look at that face! He has Connor's hair, but that's definitely a Zelda face.







And he also somehow ended up with the mysterious brown eyes... I guess that's just Sim throwing in random genetics again, unless there's secret grandparents I'm unaware of. I think it's funny how he ended up with the same color as his brother even though neither their mother or father have that color eyes. But look at those Zelda eyes, nose, and mouth.
