Lot details not saving

Has anyone had problems with lot information not saving? I've just completed a house and hit the share button. I type in a lot name and a description and then hit share. The file is there in my export folder with the correct name, so I installed it into the game as I always do for testing (this is after I have completely closed and exited the game) The thing is, when I go back into the game and edit town, the house is there in the library but instead of it's name, it just says lot name and there is no description. Just wondering if this is a problem for anyone else?

I have actually been having this problem for a long time.  Some houses have the name and some don't, like you said, just says lot name.  I am not sure why it does that, but I have gotten use to it now.  Of course, it would be nice if the names showed up. :)

OK, so it's not just me doing something wrong lol. At least it shows up with the name in the installed items list in the launcher.

Ha.. just found out what I was doing wrong. Not sure if this is the reason behind everyone else's problem, but it worked for me. When in edit town and you click on the lot you want to share, do you just click on the share button and then fill out the details of the lot and hit share? That's what I did when the info didn't save. I had to go into the house to tweak a few things and this time when I went to share it, before I hit the share button, I clicked the change details button, wrote the name and description there and then hit the share button. When the share window came up, all the details were already there so all I had to do was hit share. Now when I install this copy into the game, the details have saved, so when you mouse over it in the library, it says the name instead of just 'lot name'  ;D

Aha! Yes! I saved nearly all of my lots to the bin, but afterwards added details. And re-placed them before exporting. THAT's where it went wrong!
