I have a couple of problems occurring with my Sims 3. I have read several of the most recent posts but did not find the answers I need. I have been having the problems with several different games including a current challenge and several attempts at the townies challenge. These attempts were only stopped because of these same problems.
One sim (and in one townie challenge all of the sims except one) unable to be played. When I click on them, they do not change from the most recent sim which results in: not being able to provide them with a new action; other sims can not interact with them; their needs, traits, etc. on the bottom right do not change from the most previously played sim; and their picture on the bottom left is just green. Also this always results in permanent changes to the game. In each case I have not saved but immediately went to main menu without save. When I return the game does not revert to the previous change but is still acting improperly.
