It was even too much for Grim...he started crying.

Update:
The next time I loaded my game, the grave stones were in their places at the school.  The ghosts haunt the space rocks on the lot.  I was trying to upload the photos but I forgot my password and got banned.    :-[

Some of your guys have has some pretty rough days. Some more than others  :o

I'm not sure what my worst Sim day would be, but nothing on that scale (and it's not like I never play the game). Worst I can think of was preparing a cheat cheat for one of my sims in University because where I live, cheat sheet is another name for a crib sheet (reference sheet) which many exams allow you to bring. My sim in no way needed to cheat. Fantastic marks going in and a top notch mood, but they get caught, and the mood crashes so hard that they fail the next exam, and then they got caught on the third exam. It was pretty much a train wreck, but it's not like one of my sims was murdered by spashing, or a meteor killed every child in the town.

@Caterina - I only barely avoided your fate with the meteor. Day three of a new game in Sunset Valley, it's about ten in the morning, and all of the sudden one of the children starts wondering why it's getting so dark. Now I have a soft spot for SV and its townies, particularly those who are youngsters at the start of the game, and I knew if I didn't do something drastic they were all going to perish. Nah-uh, no way was I going to let that happen.

So I resetSim on all fifteen of them, eight teens and seven children, and the only negative consequence was that the children I was playing (the Bunch family...go figure :P) got scolded for skipping school. Oh, and Christopher Steel, who was hanging out on the school lot for some reason, managed to get himself singed.

Crisis averted...but darned if that didn't make my heart start racing.

How incredibly heartbreaking to have seen that happen, Catarina. There are some times that I wonder how the game can possibly be so cruel...

It wasn't a worst day, more like a worst week.

My simself's son died of electrocution while trying to improve his handiness skill for the Military career. Then a few days later, her husband nearly got the cheater reputation....... because a MALE paparazzi tried to cuddle him! He was reading a journalism book at the time, so it never followed through, but her surviving sons got the witnessed betrayal moodlet and my Simself got the betrayed moodlet for something that didn't follow through. Thank goodness for testingcheats.......

Had that happen yesterday, several attempts within this family, but this one I missed.  Have newly married couple upstairs set to try for baby.  Then, all of a sudden the queues vanish and he gets the upset moodlet and I have his grandfather and father getting the betrayed moodlet.
Seems the Mother-in-law is hitting on the daughter-in-law and now they have a RI.
Had to break them up, do the cheats to get it all fixed.  Getting where it is a royal pain to have more than one family in the house, especially when four of the adults are witches!  Tossing around Love Charms, which I am beginning to hate.

Caterina still has the award for the worst day.

Wow, I've got nothing on the Great Meteor, but my worst day was when I was playing with Claire Ursine, she had her daughter Pigeon with Jared, and when she aged up had her own daughter, Pumpkin. At the birthday party for Pumpkin, Claire passed away. The party was ruined, and one of the guests wandered off holding the birthday girl! I was new to the sims and didn't know about resetsim, so poor Pigeon lost her whole family in one night.

Poor sims... even though it's hilarious most of the time :-X
Earlier this week, one of the kids travelled by TARDIS LLAMA for the first time, to the festival grounds.
She got her face painted etc., then proceded to explore catacombs elsewhere.
I was preoccupied with her baby sister at the time, but at long last, a popup informed me that she'd been attacked by zombie bears, so I told her to come home. Never really payed much attention to the poor goose until I saw her beg her dad for fairy dust...and did a double take!

Yep. She had gotten her face painted but as a pirate, and she usually does not wear clothes that yellow.
Attacked by zombie bears, singed and Tragic Clowned in a matter of minutes. Taking a bath did not cure the singed status, and for 24 hours, everyone got a negative moodlet around her from Tragic Clownness.  ::)
Shameless advertisement!

My teen got an opportunity to host a party, so I did immediately as the parents left the house.

No sooner did the party start the rug in front of the fireplace caught on fire.  The teens put it out quickly before the fire brigade showed up, who then fined us for prank calling.  As soon as they left the other rug upstairs caught fire, so again we put it out only this time the fire brigade arrived to see there was a fire.  No sooner did that fire go out but then the rug downstairs once again lit up and the fire brigade rushed downstairs to put it out.

With hours of sims screaming at fires my teen sim was getting sleepy and hadn't even had a chance to get to know her new friends, so I sent her to bed.

3 hours went by when she was awoken by the sound of the fire alarm.  The TV was cremated with the game system and now my sim was orange with unhappy moodlets.  The fire brigade showed up yet again to put the fires out.

I decided to hell with school and had her bathed, fed, and sent her to bed to sleep the rest of the day off.  Then I get the message that her parents were coming home.  Yipes!  I quickly told her to get out of bed to dismiss any teens still left on the property and began frantically making beds, dragging newspapers to the outdoor bin, telling her to clean out the trash, and checking every toilet, sink and bath to make sure they were all clean.  The family arrived home and straight away daddy goes up and scolds her for making a mess.  I didn't notice that the radio was broken and she is now grounded.

I send her to bed to sleep off a little time so that she's not too tired for class, but Daddy is not content with his daughter being yelled at once and proceeds to yell at her for skipping school.  No more computers for the day.  I give up and send her to school, but daddy immediately tells her off for trying to sneak out the house.  Eventually I do manage it but she's missed a good portion of school time.

She barely makes a D in class that day because of her low mood and having missed out so much school time, at one point she dismissed herself from class because her mood was red.  I get her home and immediately daddy is jumping on her for having a low grade and she now has to spend the next couple of hours standing in a corner instead of going to bed before she passes out.  Yeesh, parent sims sure are relentless on teens.

I think my Sims just had their worst day today.

My "simself" (a sim who has my name but really isn't anything like me) and her husband went on a date to the swimming pool in Hidden Springs, because I was trying to get them a romantic reputation.  They'd had Eternally Faithful while they still lived in Sunset Valley, but lost it after they moved.  Anyway, while they were there, my simself's evil twin sister, who lives in the town as a NPC, showed up at the pool with five of her six children, and eventually they all started swimming.  Some of the kids were making weird noises in the pool but I figured that was just what kids do.

I sent the husband home because I wanted him to go skill up in his man cave, then went to check on the children in my household...no drama there.  I clicked back over to my simself, who was still in the pool, and she had two "Mourn" moodlets queued up.  Yeah...2 of her nieces, a child and a teen, just drowned in the pool at random.  I didn't know that could happen!  To add insult to injury, after taking the kids, the Grim Reaper got the "Having A Blast" symbol over his head and started laughing hysterically.

Still not as bad as the meteor though.

The second worst day was not NEARLY as bad, it was a wedding disaster in the ending of my Twinbrook story:  http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,18739.0.html

My sim's worst day: at their twins birthday party, a ton of sims showed up. Grandpa ate a bowl of firecracker shrimp and breathed fire. His fire breath set the dining room table and several guests on fire. The host wouldn't extinguish the flames or use his ice blast spell. By the time the fire dept. put out the fire 3 sims had burned to death, including their son. The grim reaper never showed up so the death flower the son had was useless. And no urns or gravestones appeared on the property so my witch couldn't bind the ghost and bring the son back to life with ambrosia :(

So this was probably worse for me than the sims but eh. In my ID, Gen 3 had just become immortal and the next day, their spouse was due to age up to elder and Gen 4 to a YA. Everyone's having a good time at the party and Gen 4 blows out their candles when I notice the spouse's mother, who has lived in the house all their life and was older than Gen 2, wasn't at the table celebrating. I went to click on her and found I could not, that somehow Grim had sneaked in was coming for her. Try as I might, I could not find her anywhere on the property to say goodbye and to this day, her tombstone and ghost have yet to materialize. I think that's the most upsetting part, well, that and the fact she was one of my favorite sims. Everyone registered her death just after Gen 4 finished aging up so the spouse had to blow out their candles while under that grief.

My Sims worse day would be generation 5 of my last legacy. Heir and spare went to school along with mom who was in the education career. Next thing I know, meteor hits the school killing the heir, spare and their mother thus ending my legacy. For an added touch of sadness, the father was at the end of his elder lifespan and grim came for him as well  :-\

I added a picture to my story.  It is the day after the meteor struck.  You can see the ghost of the Principal inside the school.

Fine I made it happen  :-[ but It's Hysterical to me! :D

So i was testing the easiest ways to kill off a sim and During the fire test I was forced to do this:
If you can't tell I cornered him with counters while the flame begins.
So his name was steven I think.
Me: Umm.... Steven you thought this kitchen design was a good idea why?
Steven: I thought it was a good idea because you designed it!
Me: Erm....  :-[ Just die so I can stop talking to you!
Steven: Well that's encouraging
Me: would you mind dying? and why am I talking to a sim?
Steven: Because you have no life?
