Custom NPC Butler

Somewhere on the forum here I came across a member's post for an uber butler named Max Skills. I thought the idea was great, as I'd been rather unhappy with the butlers my game had been providing. However, what I couldn't discover was how to make Max a true NPC butler. I could add him to my household and control him myself, but the great thing about the butlers is that I didn't need to tell them to go scrub the tub!

I've read a few mod boards on other sites that discuss installing a master controller or other named mods that will allow you to alter the game in such a way to make an NPC, but it seemed quite difficult and these people were experienced modders, so I decided it's best not to attempt this at home. *ahem*

So my question for everyone is: what are some ideas to get Max to be a true npc butler as butlers were intended, but with all the skills the creator gave him?

Or, is there a way to skill up a butler that I get stuck with through the normal method in the game? And what's with the monocle? What I wouldn't give to get rid of it! LOL

In answer to your questions, no. You can't make Max Skills an NPC . It's not easily done, as you pointed out, and it's not what he was designed for. It says in his description that he will be a part of your household. You can't make the NPC butlers skill up or change their appearance either. You would have to control them, which you don't. You have to choose one.

Max may not automatically do all the cooking and cleaning you want, but as he has the Neat trait you can easily direct him to 'Clean House' by clicking anywhere on the ground. He will do any cleaning that needs to be done automatically from there. That saves you the trouble of hunting down all the dirty dishes and counters that need scrubbing.
