The Sims 4 Official Information

By the looks of the broadcast, traits will be returning in The Sims 4. (I'm not sure if they had confirmed that before) They also emphasized that everything we're seeing is still in a pre-alpha build. What we see is not necessarily what we're going to get. They're still working on the game, after all.

I prefer TS3 graphics over the TS4 ones, but I still think that TS4 will be much better. Also, I love the CAS! It's so much easier to use. Emotions are also cool but, like MarianT said, they will probably make the game a lot harder.

I'm not sure who was asking about this, but in the broadcast, they did confirm that you can combine any hair style with any hat, which definitely sounds cool.

Aw, I'm dying to see the replay if hairstyles and hats can go together like that...

It's been confirmed that they do, I just want to see how. There were so many gorgeous hairs hidden under hats in the sims 3, and now it is no longer a problem.

I've found the broadcast HERE. You need to scroll to 0:57:43 to get to The Sims 3/4 bit and it does have Battlefield 4 before it, so I hope it is still OK to link. It was quite jumpy on my laptop, but that may just be my internet connection. Enjoy!

I absolutely LOVE that pants and boots will "acknowledge" each other, since that was always a huge pet peeve of mine. I love putting my sims in boots, but I never can because it just looks weird with shorts and doesn't work at all with pants. And there are so many cool sliders and ways to customize sims! I'm so excited!

Boots! With pants! Seperate hat and hair pieces! If I get the sims 4, doubt I'll ever continue my sims 3 games!

A couple of articles have stated that the Sims 4 is actually supposed to run better on low-spec machines than Sims 3.
