I'm glad you like them :) Here are a few more for today - the rest need more tweaking.

The Matrix
Seamless, found in themes, 2 colours

Ornate_Tiles_01
Seamless, found in tiles, 3 colours

Crazy_Boards
Seamless, found in woods, 3 colours. When I made this it made me think of the Wonderland store set. It would also go well with any fantasy theme.

I like the matrix one. Great job with that, it even has the same "alphabet" as the sims do. Or numbers. It doesn't look like sim binary. But not like html either. (I'm trying to sound all techy, when I don't know the first thing about code, or reading it. I should learn to write code sometime.)

I've been filling out my tile collection today - there are so many variations, and the game's tile folder is soo... sparse.

Here are some more:
Tiles_Thirds_V
Seamless, found in tiles, 2 colours

Tiles_Thirds_V_Strip
Seamless, found in tiles, 4 colours

Tiles_Thirds_H
Seamless, found in tiles, 2 colours

Tiles_Thirds_H_Strip
Seamless, found in tiles, 4 colours

Medium_Square_Tiles_02
Seamless, found in tiles, 3 colours

Medium_Square_Tiles_03
Seamless, found in tiles, 3 colours - this one looks good far back, but for some reason, I'm not sure if it's my graphics card or what, the edges of the middle tile get the chunky grey bits. I really don't know how to fix that.

Glazed_White_Tiles_Pear
Seamless, found in tiles, 3 colours

Ornate_Floor_Tile_01
Found in tiles, 4 colours - rotate floor tiles to see full pattern. I'm not entirely happy with this one, but someone might like it.

and another knit:
Striped_Knit
Seamless, found in fabrics, 3 colours

and another steampunk/grunge pattern:

Pipes_and_Fan
Seamless, found in metals, 3 colours. This one took a lot of tweaking to get right.

There'll be more of these if I can match them - I may not be able to replicate the various steps (both forwards and backwards) I took to get this one just right.

Oh I do like those tiles, especially the one with the diamond centre.  I like the striped knit too.  As soon as I'm home, I'm downloading!

Thank you Magz :) The colour scheme is inspired by a picture I saw - but is of course recolourable, and the design was partly inspired by my own kitchen. Let me know how it looks in your game. In the pattern tool it looks fine, but doesn't look as good in my game. If it looks good, I have a few alternates to go with it - positioning the diamond differently.

Here are some more I have had fun with this evening:

Random_Mosaic_Small
Seamless, found in tiles, 2 colours

Random_Mosaic

Basic_Mosaic

Bevelled_Arabesque_Tile_XSmall

That embossed wallpaper is lovely.  I'll try and use that on a wedding dress to see if I get a damask look.

I'll let you know how those tiles look in game soon.

Any time :D I'll post it tomorrow.

Right now I'm very excited. I found a pattern that I had been hunting high and low for the other day, and I wasn't even looking for it! I'm hoping that I can make it fully recolourable, though it is proving difficult - a possible reason why the first person to make it did not make it recolourable. Here it is - recolourable :D

Calla Lillies

Seamless, found in themes, 3 colours

I'll keep looking for a satin pattern that I can convert - all the nice ones have watermarks though, and I can't edit out the watermark neatly enough. I've just found another website with some very nice patterns and ideas, so I'll look through them tomorrow. The pleated fabric shouldn't be too hard - do you want plain, or patterned? Tartan comes to mind when I think of pleats. I'll have a look through the game's fur patterns and see if I can come up with something new :)

EDIT: I've tweaked the channels a little bit more for this one so that the leaves are darker.

The first person to do this pattern was BlueMurder and while yes it wasn't recolourable, it still seems wrong not to give her credit when she was the first.  I've noticed a couple patterns that I've seen somewhere else and even if you've redone them, I think it's only a courtesy to mention that someone else had done them first even if they weren't perfect in your eyes.

Otherwise, Chuckles you've really outdone yourself lately.  Well done.

Ah yes, thank you Rica. This is the only one that I have knowingly "redone". I asked someone about it a while back in a story, and I can't remember where. I just remembered that when I downloaded it I was disappointed. Really it can't be hard to do patterns similar to what others have done - I'm rather late to the pattern table, and seamless textures are not always easy to find. Many I have made myself though. The Calla Lillies I found the source file for, and edited it extensively to make it recolourable. I didn't copy it from BlueMurder's pattern. Anyone can copy and paste a picture into CAP - if it required it, I would give credit to the person who made the picture in the first place.

There are a lot of patterns around that are similar - variations on a theme, or simply different people coming up with the same sort of idea.  As long as you're starting with copyright-free images, it shouldn't be a problem.  There's no reason why more than one person can't create similar patterns.
