Oh, a quilt!  I was so excited when I saw that pattern, Chuckles!  I used to be very much into quilting (until I took up Sims instead) and I've been longing for a nice quilt for my Sims' beds.  Or on the wall.  Or maybe even on a piece of furniture.  I know this isn't the place for pattern requests, but if you're into quilt patterns, have you considered doing a crazy quilt pattern?

I love the idea of textile-related patterns in general.  Ausette's knit patterns have always been some of my favourites, along with the crochet one you shared with us awhile back.  I've always wished there were better fabric choices in the game - fabric that really looks like satin, velvet, etc. 

And the cloudy sky is a pattern I've been wishing for too!  Thank you so much for all the wonderful patterns you've been sharing with us.

I'm glad you like the quilt pattern so much I'll see what I can do about a crazy quilt pattern, some silk and some velvet - in the meantime, don't be afraid to re-purpose some of the other textures - the fine stone looking one in masonry could possibly double as velvet, and the plastic/rubber ones could double as satin.

Chuckles, you have indeed found a new calling.  I really really like that cloudy sky pattern and the quilt and the floral 11 and... so many patterns, so few sim hours in a day.

I just thought I'd let everyone know that I am happy to take requests for patterns - whether it be a variation of something I've done, a reorientation or retexturing of something in the game, or something completely new.

Schipp, with the satin, do you want smooth satin, rippled satin, or bunched satin?

One pattern that I've been wanting for some time is a larger dot than the one available in game . I like using different pattern styles together and sometimes the dot is just too small to be able to see it properly with a striped fabric .

There are four dotty patterns in geometric - do you mean bigger than all of those? I think the light brown and dark brown one have the biggest dots. Or do you mean dots with stripes?

Here are today's efforts. I messed around a lot today and didn't get much done, but I think it was because I was looking for something specific and didn't really find it. Plus, paisley is hard to do because of the fine detail. I found a nice paisley cardigan while I was shoe-shopping yesterday - hopefully they'll still have one when I can go clothes shopping in August. In the meantime, I'll make my sim one.

Both the sunflower tiles were made from the same tiles, but I had to take the screenshot for the first one in-game, because I forgot to grab one before I moved on to do the second one in CAP. So they will both match up to use together.

I meant larger than the one shown in browns . I just love these new Paisley designs , satins are just awesome , but they are all so nice .

Ok, I'll get onto that first thing tomorrow afternoon - roughly how much bigger than the brown ones? twice as big? more?

What I'd most like would be something that will look right on a garment, perhaps with a few vertical folds or ripples to make it "hang" like a real garment.  I don't know if it's possible to do that, given the type of garments we have in the game though.  And now that you've said it's ok for us to ask you for specific patterns, I wonder if it would be possible to make a pattern that looks like pleated fabric?  I suppose it would be a vertical stripe, and likely the key would be colouring it properly so it looked pleated instead of stripy.  Hmm ... maybe I should try this myself with some of the in-game stripes.  What about a fur pattern?

And thanks for the ones' you've just given us!  The velvet looks luscious, and I think those satins could be used to make a very luxurious environment for some lucky Sim.

Right now I'm very excited. I found a pattern that I had been hunting high and low for the other day, and I wasn't even looking for it! I'm hoping that I can make it fully recolourable, though it is proving difficult - a possible reason why the first person to make it did not make it recolourable. Here it is - recolourable

I'll keep looking for a satin pattern that I can convert - all the nice ones have watermarks though, and I can't edit out the watermark neatly enough. I've just found another website with some very nice patterns and ideas, so I'll look through them tomorrow. The pleated fabric shouldn't be too hard - do you want plain, or patterned? Tartan comes to mind when I think of pleats. I'll have a look through the game's fur patterns and see if I can come up with something new

EDIT: I've tweaked the channels a little bit more for this one so that the leaves are darker.

It's been a busy day today - but I still found time for at least 2 patterns. Another one I did, and it looks great, but I have decided to change one of the channels about a bit, so that one will wait a while.
