The crocheted flower _01 reminds me of a quilt my grandmother made a long time ago . Such amazing work . All this makes my head spin ! Brilliant work !

Thank you Schipp and Ladybug, and Dextra for giving me the idea in the first place I have downloaded a whole bunch of pictures of granny squares, so I've got more to make yet. They're fiddly though, because I have to cut bits out and warp them to the right shape and size. I hope the quality is still ok - I'm having second thoughts about being ok with this smaller monitor (since mine broke  )

I've been quite enjoying playing with inkscape, learning about how to use it. I created my own lace pattern vector from just hexagons so that I can make lots of different patterns with it. Here are the first two I have made, using a rose vector on top:

and another crochet one - I photoshopped this one but did a copy in CAP for good measure. Surprisingly the CAP recoloured perfectly, and it also retains more of it's 3D shape.

These are all so beautiful ! This inkscape is a very nice technique . The flower one looks like it's embossed , would look very nice on a bed cover . You're doing amazing work !
