Constant Crashing

Hi,
I just recently installed my game onto my laptop, and the game keeps crashing randomly! It keeps saying "Sims 3 is not responding" in the Windows thingy.
Please help~

Can you tell us when it's crashing? At the launcher? Saving?

Do you only have the base game? Nothing like Late Night? And have you ever downloaded a patch for Sims 3?

It's been crashing whenever I've tried to load a new town or after I've been playing for a while (1 hourish?)
I have Generations and Pets, and there is a new update available, but I'm capped right now so I can't install it right now.

My game has crashed now three times with in the last few hours every time
I try to take My Sim Joel to Champs Les Sims for 5 days.
I have taken him to China and to Egypt and he has gone up to 12 days
on both country's But for some reason as I said I tried to take him to
Champs Les Sims (France) and it crashes. PLEASE can someone help
It is getting really annoying and frustrating that I can't take him to France,
The thing is I really enjoy playing but not if it's going to keep crashing like this.
Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks in advance.

I suggest installing the patch when you can, and reporting back. In the meantime, clean out some old stuff on your PC, free up space, etc.

Thanks Seabody, I'll try to update ASAP and I'll post my results. I'm pretty sure my laptop has enough space, as there's practically nothing on it.
