The Arrival
My lighted journey eventually ended when I was thrust into the corner of an empty room. I had seen something similar setup in the other Sim Bins but since I didn't belong to one I had to use this one. My sister and I had decided that I would change my name to reflect the challenge I was taking on. My last name was no longer that of my parents and ancestors. My first name was no longer the name my mother had found in the "History of Sunset Valley" book Cousin Morty had written with the help of his Uncle Mortimer. I was now and will continue to be Christopher Sunset until this challenge is over.
I also decided while I was being made over I would get rid of my Gunther style beard. I always wanted to make myself look older but I think having a baby face may help in my new adventure. Plus every time I see my chin it reminds me of my sister who I already miss. She was actually the one that suggested I name myself for Christopher Steel, one of our great grandfathers. She always jokes how she escaped the curse of his lips whereas I didn't.
It's my understanding that he and one of his other of his dearest friends were always the most popular of spouse choices for founders in good ole SV. Well if he can wear those weird clothes and get a woman than I probably could, too. I opted for a few pieces similar to ones I'd seen in the family scrapbook and decided I was done. I almost changed my eyes to match his wife's but decided against it. Even though I don't have the eyes of my ancestors, I like them anyway. It's part of what makes me me.
I already knew that where I was going only ever saw Summer so I didn't even both setting up my outerwear. When would I ever wear it?
It felt weird to be able to change my personality so I didn't change too many things. I stayed ambitious and artistic but I gave myself the ability to be a better salesman. I tweaked myself into being a perfectionist so that maybe I'll be less slobby. It might actually help with my painting skill, too. Since I was already into painting, Pru told me to consider that for my supermax and I thought it was a good plan. Last thing that I needed to do was decide what my lifetime wish was. I decided on Swimming in Cash. Sure it doesn't help with much but if I get it early that means there is a good chance life won't be difficult forever.
Then again.. I live in a field. As soon as the last piece was in place, I found myself standing on the sidewalk of the dynasty lot in Union Cove. I didn't have much money but I had a lot of land. That means there is a lot of potential right?
The neighbors look friendly though. And check it out they're both blue. That just happens to be my favorite color.
