When Sims die
« on: April 30, 2013, 03:08:22 PM »
I've got 3 questions relating to this topic.

1, if a relative of a sim dies & they live in another house do you get notified or anything to tell you that, in this case their father has died?

2, when they die what happens to their head stone if its not at the cemetery?

3, I had a couple of head stones at the cemetery & they're not there now. Where & why would they have gone?

Many thanks

1.   Only if you're close to the father.  If you have very little relationship, you may not get the call or the ability to get the tombstone from the graveyard.

2.  You have to have a certain relationship level with a Sim to get a tombstone to appear.  Then it only appears when you "Manage the Dead" on the mausoleum.

3. What do you mean exactly?  As in you placed them there yourself or people have died?

Thanks.

1, I thought they were close but maybe not enough :(

2, thanks

3, yeah I placed them there. I made a little garden area with 2 headstones and they've both gone.

They shouldn't disappear unless you do something to the lot to make them disappear or you move towns.  Sometimes I think I do something then the game crashes and I lose all the progress and I forget it wasn't done.   Have you experienced this recently?

No I haven't had that for a while. I haven't edited the cemetery area for ages so I don't think it'd be that.

Very strange.
