Building on a slope
« on: April 30, 2013, 12:08:29 PM »
Hi I have read Carl's guide to building on a slope but I'm struggling to do it.

Has anyone successfully built on the land between 2300 & 2400 Pinochle Point up near the (Military base)? I've added a lot to the space using 'World Editor' & I can add a building with no problem but the problems start when trying to get in & out of lot as its sloped sims can't get to the front door. I've tried building a stair case but it didn't work.

Should I just give up on this lot or is there a way around it?

Many thanks

Only thing I can think of is flattening the lot? In build mode, it's in the water tool menu, it says flatten or level lot. I can't remember the exact wording.

There's also the "soften terrain" tool which can seriously help with sharp edges.

Thank you. They both made a big difference to my building.

Thank you :)
