Reasonable Length of time for Each Season?

I purchased a hard copy of Seasons online yesterday and I was thinking...
Just what is a reasonable amount of time for each season? I was thinking 4 days then adding a few days to the child/teen stage of life, for holidays and such.

It depends on how often you want to switch things through.  I like 7, 10 & 14 days.  With 7 days you know the holidays are always on thursday.  With 14 it's every other Thursday.  With 10 it changes much like an actual year will.   

Doing it every 4 days means every 16 days you'll have four days that you have to take off from work, school, etc.

How does Seasons affect WA travel? I'm thinking of making my next generation in my current file an explorer or collector of collectibles :3

Also I have Supernatural. Is that weather stone thing a community lot or object that I will have to place myself?

There is no weather in WA worlds.   The stone will randomly appear somewhere in the world on a community lot as soon as you open a game.

Yep.  You'll get a notification and it will have a purple button to hit to go to the location.

I prefer seven days because it means the seasons aren't too long or short. Personally, winter gets quite tedious so I sometimes shorten that, unless I'm doing a mock challenge or dynasty.

I set summer at 14 days, and leave the other seasons at 7 days. My sim needs to work on her garden, and I don't want to buy the greenhouse.
