Skipping Work?

Ok, one of my Sims refuses to go to work.  Even when the carpool comes, the image pops up in her queue, but then she immediately goes and does something else.  I've tried a couple different things to fix the problem, including moving them out of the penthouse they were in, having her quit the job then take it again, going to map view and trying to get her to go that way... nothing works.  Has anyone else had this problem?

Sometimes this is related to the career outfit. Try changing her into her career outfit when the carpool arrives.

Sometimes before going to work, the game needs more time loading the career outfit. This happened also to me. I managed to go to work, by pausing the game, so that way it loads more easily the outfit.
