Limits in values?
« on: April 29, 2013, 10:13:37 AM »
I was wondering if someone can confirm whether the following things will increase in value even after having the skill maxed, opportunities done and skill challenges:

Fishing: will the value of fishes increase the more fish you fish and if this is true (after having fished 350 fish), will the value increase from total fish fished or from fish of the same type fished. Also, does the quality of the fish that is used as a bait increase the value of fish that you catch even beyond perfect (fishing with a perfect 8kg fish compared to 5kg fish).

Writing: when writing several of the same type of books will the royalty amount increase the more books you have written and how exactly does reading books help you, does it increase value, chance of better quality, or something else, and when does this cap if it caps?

Painting: when painting normal paintings you can easily see if the painting is going to become a masterpiece since the paintings that are masterpieces will always look the same, is there any way of knowing early whether portraits of other self-taken paintings will become masterpieces?

Gardening: Is there an upper limit to the amount of money a money tree can give/day?

1.  As your fish go up, perfect fish cost the most, but they don't increase in value.

2.  The more books you write, the royalties do increase, however, I have level 10 in writing and one book will be worth a lot of money and maybe the next book he writes in the genre will be less, not sure why, but maybe random.  If they have finished all of the challenges and reach level 10, you can make a fortune writing books, but it takes time.

3.  Sometimes the same painting will not always be a masterpiece, but again, when they reach level 10, most paintings are at least brilliant.  I have had a painter that every portrait they paint, are a masterpiece and some painters, whether they have all challenges met, seem to hardly get a masterpiece.  Not sure if you can actually tell if a painting will be a masterpiece, but something that I have tried and it has worked, is have a room that is scarcely decorated.  Put an easel in the room, when your painter starts painting and they get a moodlet of "beautifully decorated", that usually means the painting is a masterpiece or at least brilliant.  I did test this out and it seems to be true for sculptures also. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

The books read caps at 50 books, and gives a bonus to writing speed of 0.15 (for reference, the base writing speed is 0.12).

Unfortunately no. Beyond having a Perfectionist Proficient Painter who is Extra Creative, there is nothing you can do to affect it.
