Details...
This is another large and spacious house, in a different way of Island Getaway. It is also an open-concept mansion-like house. It could easily be a bachelor(ette) house by omitting the third floor, or kept as a family house as it is now.

Features....
- An infinity pool! (Kind of!)
- huge kids/teens room
- party backyard and basement
- ample space for a butler
- large kitchen
- lots of car spaces (and three vehicles already provided... it may or may not have ranked up the cost...)

Does not include...
- a "study"
- laundry
- some skill items (off the top of my head, alchemy and inventing)

Builder's Note
This house was requested and inspired by Kellykennedysims. She had asked for a modern house with popping feature colours and walls. The layout itself is inspired by a house in my neighborhood, though I realized the house about ninety degrees while building it. Yes, in the actual house, the garage faces the road. It's actually a very interesting design. It's not modern though.

I had so much fun designing and playing with this house. Being able to play with a popping colour similar to my Rubik's Cube house was a fun way to experiment with colours. I think I made the measurements too big and I wish, especially in the basement, that I downsized things a little. However, I got too lazy to really fix them (heh) so they're going to stay how it is.

Here's the shell!

I love the way you've put the hot tub on an island in the middle of the pool. Very creative! Also, your use of colour makes the place feel very hip and cool. I probably won't download this, but only because it will not get much use as it is not my style. However, if I ever need a house like this, I'm sure this house will be on top of my download list.  :)

Thank you! I have an obsession with pastel colours, so whenever I get a chance to go nuts with those colours I'll gladly take it!

Wow!  I really usually hate orange, lime green and bright colors but you took them to a new dimension and made it look terrific.  Love it.

Thank you! Those colours paired with white always takes away from the 'harshness' of the colour otherwise, and makes it much easier to work with. The praise means a lot :)

I agree with everyone and the hot tube... i'll have to steal that idea if you don't mind. :) Everyone builds amazing houses, no matter how hard i try my houses come out looking like a box.  ::)

No problem, the hot tub idea is open for everyone :)

I was like that at first. I honestly suggest watching some youtube videos (Curtis Paradis is really good) of house builders on sims. It gives some really good ideas. A really good exercise is practicing making some familiar houses, like your own or one in your neighborhood. That helped me learn.

I love how you used the vibrant colors! I especially like the orange you used in the living room. It's fabulous ;D!
