Hey again Caitie!
I actually posted (with some issues, as it turns out) a link to the "Sneak Peek" in
another thread here on the Forum, (I don't think I've seen TollingBells post, is it here in this thread?).
I was
hoping to discuss the "racy" or "more mature" version of the "late night scene" EA's marketing
Late Night in comparison with the relatively-tame
Nightlife.As you typed,
However, the tone was also that LN is going to be much less silly: "The Sims 3 Late Night is set to be a more mature and realistic look at the night scene in a more urban environment." That's a relief!
I'm still a bit concerned how folks (and frankly, this Forum in particular) are going to handle these "more mature" themes, given we've already seen how carefully (in this very thread) folks can get about perceived (or what they consider to be inferred) comments.
We'll see what's in the actual expansion, and how these "more mature" themes are handled. I just wanted to open up the discussion a bit about how mature folks (of every age and gender, nationality/ethnic group, and game-playing experience) would consider dealing with such themes and content.
