New Expansion Pack "Late Night"

The only bugs I have had is the consignment store with Ambitions. I also noticed a few days before it was released that my family tree was messed up in one or two games, I don't know where that came from I also had a minor problem with stuff disappearing from a treasure chest when I moved. Other than those, I have been really lucky so far. *knock on wood*

I've also had problems with my family tree during the Wishmaster challenge. It only showed a few of the people in my family and the box was half the size it usually is. When I clicked on my children it didn't show both the parents, and it only showed two of my children at a time, instead of all of them (I had around 8 ). It wasn't linking the family together like it normally would. Are these the kind of problems you had also?

I wonder how many pages there will be by the time it finally releases. Probably double. And then when it does come out everyone will run back to this page to discuss the new EP and what they like about it, dislike, and what they are doing with the new features. There will probably also be a lot of questions on content and tech problems possibly. I'm sure the hype won't die down for quite a while.

When Late Night releases, I'll add a new board to the Forum especially for it.  The initial thread will be "Late Night: First Impressions" and then anything that needs its own discussion. There won't be much need to come back to this thread.

Thanks so much for sharing that video with us!  There's not a whole lot of new info in it, but it did confirm some things.  It's also nice to know that they'll be adding multiple hot tubs to the game, not just one model ("lots and lots of hot tubs" was the phrase used).  And it is reassuring to know exactly how much detail they're putting into vampires; the supernatural creatures in the Sims 2 still felt human to me, just a human living a different lifestyle.  Hopefully TS3 vampires will feel like you're actually playing a vampire.

I'm a bit nervous about how he stressed "penthouse lofts", though.  I want apartments, dang it!

It would be interesting if vampires got different social and object interactions in certain situations that were far different than regular human sims. I would also like to see some of them have special powers or something. I'm hoping the vampires will be really different than what we've already seen from this game. Completely different, hopefully.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to penthouse apartments, too.  And "high-end" is sort of the the preferred goal in The Sims, right?  As your Sims make more and more money, they trade in their cheap crap for nicer things, to get rid of negative moodlets and get positive ones.  However, you do need to start somewhere, especially as I don't use money cheats.  So I would also like the option of smaller, less expensive apartments.  After all, how special is having a nice penthouse suite if it's the only suite in the building?  That's not a penthouse suite; that's a really high house.  How is that any different from what we have now?

There will be different levels of penthouses, just like we have different levels of houses now.  I think by "penthouse" they just mean it will be at the top of a tall building.

Have you heard the old Pokemon slogan? "Gotta catch 'em all!". (shudders) I do love my pokemon though. I'm playing through Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness AGAIN, despite the fact I didn't really like it.

Sorta like the ones simbots get? I loved making my simbot talk to the blender, since she was hard to inject into the family. She was there as a maid, and that was it.
