Perhaps a drop in hygene (making them "sick") and a negative moodlet! lol

I'd think it affects them like eating rotten food dose for normal sims, by giving them a nauseated moodlet and making them puke in a few hours time.

EA is such a tease!

They said the vampires slept in special beds, but no coffins... coffins are done.

I'd like to think it does something extra special to vampires that we've never seen before. Some sparkley and fantastic or something. Maybe they will turn to dust.  :D

Hm...I'd be funny if they got sick sick, or had a 'allergic reaction' moodlet. That would actually be a nice realistic touch, some sims being allergic to some plants and foods, like being cheese or beef plant intolerant, as well as being unable to eat foods with that said substance in it.

Wow, another EP so soon? I was hoping they would take the time to fix the bugs (mainly the consignment store) in this one before putting another one out! Why do they put so many out when the others aren't working properly? I know I'm impatient sometimes and I know it takes time to work out the kinks, but I would think that they would take the time to make sure one is working right before putting another one out!

I suspect selling products is their first priority.

I agree. I think they should consider quality over quanity though. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and all the EP's but if they put out bug-free or bug-less games, they would probably sell more!

I'm sure they want to satisfy players that want the next new thing. I'll bet there are a lot of us out here. We live in a society that has a very short attention span and they want to keep our attention. Just look at how many pages we've already devoted to an EP that's not even out yet.

As to the bugs, that's probably a whole different team than the one who does the creating. Just think of how many different computers, players and situations they have to cover. What surprises me is that there aren't more bugs.

You have a point there! 24 pages and it's not due til October lol. I'm glad there isn't more bugs! That would definetly suck!

I have also seen that when another SP or EP comes out, there are updates on those that fix previous bugs, so maybe that will be the case, one can only hope.

Yep, Saltypaws, EA's in a strange situation with the Sims franchise, in that a large enough percentage of folks who "buy-into" the game usually end up buying at least one (and from the numbers I've seen, most buy a majority) of the Expansion Packs.

On really gnasty bugs or game issues, usually the development team working on the next Expansion Pack is tasked with "fixing" the bug (and then they tear-off the code-fixes for a game "patch" or "update" for those in the customer base that don't purchase the EP). For huge bugs, they can even have the next "Stuff Pack" team implement / integrate the code fixes.

I know I'm impatient sometimes and I know it takes time to work out the kinks, but I would think that they would take the time to make sure one is working right before putting another one out!

Hehe Esther1981, yeah. But by they get all the kinks fixed, usually another EP or SP is on the scene that introduces completely different problems.

Although I think EA's really dropped the ball on the possibilities offered by "The Store" to keep those of us with a short attention-span happy, overall I'm very pleased with how stable my current install of the Sims3 is.  :D

Well, my game works for enough amount time for the gaming experience to still be there (before it CTD's, but you know :)). I think it does for most people and then they must listen to their demand for an expansion of the game instead of quick fixes for bugs they may not have. Of course, both at the same time would be nice. ;D

I wonder how many pages there will be by the time it finally releases. Probably double. And then when it does come out everyone will run back to this page to discuss the new EP and what they like about it, dislike, and what they are doing with the new features. There will probably also be a lot of questions on content and tech problems possibly. I'm sure the hype won't die down for quite a while.

The only bugs I have had is the consignment store with Ambitions. I also noticed a few days before it was released that my family tree was messed up in one or two games, I don't know where that came from I also had a minor problem with stuff disappearing from a treasure chest when I moved. Other than those, I have been really lucky so far. *knock on wood*
