One of thethings I've noticed that hasn't been mentioned is that in one of the scenes in a club a man and a women were dancing and the man had muscle tone (unlike the muscles now that don't look that different to the none muscle bound). Also the woman's chest was bigger. So more, subtler features that people have asked for =)
Also looking forward to the hottubs  ;D

I went back and looked, the scene you are talking about is a screenshot. And I agree, there is a guy (not the t-shirt guy) with a girl that is in an orange bikini top and she is more busty and he is definately more defined, muscularly.

That's what I said (well, not about the girl and which number screenshot) didn't I?  :)  Something about going here (the same URL you had, I think) and that there were screenshots including the real shirtless guy. I'm not annoyed or trying to be annoying. ::shrug:: It must be one of those things. Back to your regularly scheduled Late Night (October 29th! Poke at me with sharp sticks, why don't you? On second thought, don't.) discussion/speculation.

Bust sliders, if tastefully done, could provide more variety in the look of Sims. Though obviously there would be those who would want nothing but having them as large as possible. The more I think about it the more I hope it's like a choice of, say, three options of size and the rest controlled by weight. I like the idea of the muscle definition being increased better. It's been pretty silly to be maxed out in Athletics and there to be no real visible difference than if they had half as much work put into it. I like the idea of new instruments. Never played with vampires in S2 (pardon me while I have a giggle fit at what that sounded like) though turning into a bat and flying off might be fun for a little while. Anyone who played as a vampire in S2 have a comment on that they can throw into a Late Night post? Singing would be fun, particularly if it was like someone playing the bagpipes badly at first, then got better and better as they learned/trained/practiced. They did that with S2 and karaoke. Hot tub:  good.  ;D Muscles painted on t-shirts? If I was the one who got to decide who came in the nightclub, anyone wearing that wouldn't be welcome.   ::)  Ooh! A thought just struck me (at my age, they sometimes hurt, too.  ;) ) Penthouse apartment means elevators, right? So maybe we could have them in our sprawling mansions! Not that I've had a real mansion in the game, yet, but...someday. That would be a nice addition.

P.S. Nothing wrong with a group of bagpipe players who know what they're doing, though. Granted, I've only heard them on tv for parades and (usually police officer) funerals. Because of the latter (I rarely watch parades on tv) I associate them with sad, solemn occasions. Whether I'd like them more or less if I heard them play happier tunes, I have no idea. However, whoever suggested (facetiously, I believe) bagpipes in the Sims as a possibility must start a campaign to get them. But only under certain conditions. Maybe they'd put it as something a Mysterious Mr. Gnome would do. Or they could have a rare, easter-eggy MMG dressed in tartan with a kilt and sporran, who pulls out bagpipes and plays them to wake up your Sims sometimes. And you'd have to pay to get rid of him or find a Sim that's looking for one. Mwuahahaha!

I've heard a lot of bagpipes in my time, and...They all start to sound the same. I'm really exited for piano and cello playing, but professional singing would be awesome.

Also, I agree about the 'bust-slider' device. If they did it with just 3 selections, then that would be fine, but a slider would prompt people to do...Well, y'know, like...16-point racks on teensy little girls with no waists.

Penthouse apartment means elevators, right?

Now there's something with building that I hadn't thought of, and of course now you have brought it up, I'm going to be hoping for elevators in this new EP.

I've heard my fair share of bagpipe players, and in all honesty, done well, it's not that bad. Brilliant at weddings, quite good sounding at parades. And nothing touched my heart like hearing (and watching) the lone bagpiper on top of Edinburgh castle, with a full moon behind him, playing at the end of the Tattoo. However, as my friend says whenever he hears bagpipes playing, somebody is strangling the cats! (and he's scottish too!). However sims playing bagpipes... *shudders*... i've heard their singing through WA!

As for the sliders, I would love it if they have sliders for chest (breasts) waist and hips for the women. Only because it would make CAS more realistic. I must admit, I tend to take inspiration from real life, and sometimes it is so difficult to get it right with the limitations we have at the moment. Also for the men, sliders for shoulders and waist primarily. Again for the same reason. I like to be true to life that way and making skinny 'perfect' looking sims is just not always that much fun. Same if you make the sims on the heavier side. I have friends (women) who are on the heavier side, however have a wonderful proportion, not just 'round' the way the sims make them to be.

As for elevators, I'm pretty sure I read on the sims3 official forum that there will be elevators... don't quote me though.

So, from the experience of you Sim2 players, what do you expect from the vampires in this EP? Think you will you be able to enter CAS and make one?  Have to meet one by chance?

Well, it would be nice to make one, maybe.  In sims2, you had to befriend the vampire and sometimes it just did not work out.  I think I managed to have one vampire and about died laughing when it started to get light and I hadn't gotten him a casket yet, he was starting to go a little beserk, until I figured out what the problem was and finally got him one.  I wasn't real impressed with it at that time, or the werewolves either.  I would just get to the point of making friends with a wolf and then would never see it again, so I gave up, so I never had a werewolf.  I have a feeling they have probably improved the way they did things from the sims2, so looking forward to finding out just how much.

If they have improved the vampires (and possible werewolves), perhaps those sims would be eager to make friends, then drag you back to their pad for a little snack. Werewolves too, unless they're 'good' wolves, in which they may avoid people. There probably wouldn't be a nice vampire if they did this, because, let's face it, the nice ones killed themselves after reading Twilight.

Well if they include Werewolves then Twillight fans will go crazy still!  ;) I watched the films they are okay I still think Bella is grumpy and wonder why a Vampire even likes her apart from her blood, she walks around with this face most of the time -_- but as long as these Vampires get the super speed and strength from the film that would be cool, I better start getting my Vamp tanks filled...  8)

If the Sim 2 vamps did the arm in front of the face move the game creators are obviously influenced by pop culture. That's very much a Bella Lugosi type vamp trait. Maybe they will be more like HBO's True Blood where the supernaturals have "come out of the coffin" and are living main stream lives. They defiantly don't sparkle.

I'm excited by the urban look of the new EP. I want a city to live in.
