Crashes From Not Having Enough Space
« on: April 27, 2013, 05:45:43 PM »
My Sims 3 game keeps crashing from not having enough space, so I deleted a lot. I got rid of a world, went through everything I didn't always use, and deleted some of the Cache files. So I restarted and logged on to my game in Monte Vista, and I was renovating a home. And it crashed again! I keep getting rid of stuff, but it does the exact same thing.
I have all of the expansions and no stuff packs.
I got Miracle Fixer (I think that is the name) from ModTheSims, and it just keeps telling me to upgrade for more space.
What should I do? Is there a way to fix it without losing the CC I really enjoy or should I just upgrade? And, if I do upgrade, how do I go about doing that?

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago. Now, I'm sure it is because your computer is out of space.
Now here's an example: Your computer holds 20 GB of space. Your game and all of your files, families, ect. now is so big it takes up 20.1 GB. Your computer can't hold it, so it can't save your game. Each time you save your game, it'll take up MORE space. Now, here's where EA bites us in the bum--- the only way/s to fix this is---- get a new computer that can hold more GB (gigabytes) of space OR move some things around and make more space. Maybe to a hard drive or a simple drive. I believe this is the situation. Sorry.
