Ohhh......
What does is mean?
If a cluttered desk is an indication of a clutter mind, what is indicated by an empty desk?

*whimper*
I do not understand! Why is this here? (as in, in the CAW area) why does she (it looks like a she) want my biological and technological distinctiveness?

I do not believe I understand. Why did you post it here?

And thus, First was made.

Welcome to The Unicomplex - a sunken Borg-like starship. When the ship crashed, only one survived - the queen, as you see her pictured in the first post - Sedin Caeliar (I was very excited when I remembered the outfits that sims come back from the future in, and had a lot of fun making her with unlockoutfits). You will see elements of both Borg and the Replicators here - both seeking perfection, both adapting from other life-forms. For story purposes, it would be great to 'assimilate' all the sims from any given town by throwing simbot potions at them, however, this would not work so well for Porter mod. I need my simbots to be as clean as possible, so they will be built, and isolated, so that they can all be ported into the world safely.

The Unicomplex is a tiny 256x256 world, yet seemingly very large. The world will use the sky and water parameters from Lunar Lakes. In the main version, there will be a small amount of custom content - additional Lunar Lakes rabbitholes, some glass floors with trim, and some Lunar-Lakes enabled world decor. These will not be included in the world, but should be downloaded separately if you wish to use them. The world will be uploaded on the exchange, where you can find further details. There will be a small amount of store content also.

Being space-ship like, the terrain is plated metal, and thus nothing grows on it. However, at the centre of the world, is The Holodeck, where a nature-like scene is generated holographically for your sims' enjoyment. Around The Holodeck, is the Borg-walk (road), and surrounding it, all the rabbit-holes, plus some non-rabbithole community lots. Flowing around and through small crevices in the space ship is the D.A.T.A. Stream - for which I created the terrain using Photoshop.

The concept for this world is, once again, functionality. I was beginning to feel that functionality was taking a second-seat to eye-appeal for Cypress Lakes (never fear! I have not abandoned it, just taking a small break), so this world will be strictly functional. There will also be some of the WA lots and UL lots. I have already created the Nectary - Picard's Pinots, as well as many other lots. They will all share the same decor, and are built purely for functionality. If it is not needed for that particular lot, then it is not there!

Originally the lights from the Starship were all green, however the chemiluminescence from the water on the planet has turned them all cyan.

The smallest living quarters - Cubicles - are 4x4 cubes on 6x6 lots, housing 2 sims each. This makes excellent space efficiency. Once I have completed a beta version of the world I will test everything for routing and such, although the only thing that I can foresee causing any issues are those cursed spiral stairs. I sure wish EA would fix those!

All the buildings are built from 4x4x4 cubes. Sadly, I cannot pattern the undersides of exposed cube, nor the ceilings, as a common glitch causes my ceilings to disappear and move all over the place, but rest assured, I've taken steps to make sure that every part of the lot is complete as possible. Each lot without CC will have it's own separate listing in a post.

The nectary has one of each grape type plant, and The Hydroponics Lab will have one of each of every other type of plant, plus possibly the garden requirements for photography. These will be the only plants in the world.

The fishing spot will be a hatchery, with every type of fish in it's own pond, inside a large cubed building. The 'bags of fish' are courtesy of Vinyl's Fish Library - without which I would have to catch all those fish myself.

Lastly (for now) every residential lot will have a Beautiful Vista moodlet, corresponding to the lot value.

Yay ... for real trek, not Abrams trek. I WISH there was a love button for this forum, for I love this idea of yours, Chuckles. :D
