Needs get stuck at random spots

Okay, I'll try to explain this as briefly as possible. It's super strange though, I've never had it happen to me before.

Basically I've been playing with this one sim for quite some time. I installed UL shortly after it came out, so he's been getting degrees like mad. He had a wish to complete a third degree, so that's what he's doing.

I do use cheats, but have not used a single one in this particular game.

I opened it up last night to find that certain needs of his were getting stuck at seemingly random places. For example, at the point I saved the game he still had 5h left of the "feeling clean" moodlet. It slowly dwindled to 41 minutes left and then froze. Hours later (game time), it was still at 41 minutes. The same thing happened with the fun need. No matter how many computer games I played, it wouldn't budge. Other needs of his seemed to be working OK.

I tried reloading the game and I tried a couple of things with testingcheatsenabled-- that is, I tried manually dragging the need bars and make all happy as well as ctrl-clicking on the moodlets I could to see if I could at least get his needs to move. Nothing seemed to work.

Does anyone know what's doing on and how to fix it?

Try resetting him -- resetsim firstname lastname

I've had this with every single need, and I believe it was mentioned in the university thread. It seems to be something related to the expansion pack. I think it's possibly in the few hours before they have class. At least, that's when I've noticed it happening. They always fix themselves in their own time though and I've had no problems in my home world.

I didn't notice them changing after some time in-game, but I don't think I let it go all that long before I tried restarting and doing all that other stuff. Thanks for the response; I will see if it resolves itself after a while in game and report back.

For what it's worth, I almost always save my game right after my sim has gone to sleep, so it is happening right in the few hours before class. Maybe some time will clear it up.
