College Daze Challenge, Season 2--The Winner is Announced

Pippin:  It was the day of the big trip to China.



Gossamer:  You mean you can drive to China?!?!
Pippin:  After a long flight, the girls finally arrived in China.  By plane, not taxi.



Gossamer:  I'm hungry.  Do you think we can order Chinese take out?



Pippin:  Gossamer made her way to the dojo to learn Sim Fu.
Gossamer:  What is all this Sim Foolery?  Hahaha!



Pippin:  She took to the martial arts quite naturally.  Must be that "disciplined" trait.



Pippin:  By the end of day one, she had achieved her yellow belt.
Gossamer:  Pink wings and a yellow belt.  Could there be anything better?



Gossamer:  Oooo, learning that kick would be better!!!



Pippin:  While Billow jammed and Phezelle was too worn out to move, Gossamer flew in loop de loops.
Gossamer:  WHHEEEEEE!!!!
Pippin:  Then, Zheena found a secret entrance while Gossamer "helped" her.



Gossamer:  Look!!  I'm a statue!!!
Pippin:  Gossamer followed Zheena on the adventure, but took no active part.  Heading back to the hostel, she prepared for a night's rest.



Gossamer:  I have rabies!  Rawr rawr!!
Pippin:  And the next day, she started learning board breaking,



Pippin:  and did her first sparring.







Pippin:  She won.



Pippin:  After a long day of training, she enjoyed a good meal.
Gossamer:  Soup is good food!!



Pippin:  She did more sparring on her final day,



Pippin:  and became a green belt.
Gossamer:  I can't wait to tell my teddy bear I just stomped you into the ground!!



Pippin:  She freshened up with a shower in a can.



Pippin:  Then had two last sparring matches, both against Phezelle.



Pippin:  Phezelle won the first match 2-1.  Gossamer won the second 2-0.
Gossamer:  By my math, I'm either ahead by 1, or 19.  I can't remember whether or not you carry the 9...
Pippin:  Gossamer stopped in to visit with one of the shopkeepers,



Gossamer:  It's winter where I'm from!
Pippin:  and then finished her trip in the only way one might expect,



Pippin:  Skinny dipping.  And this brings us to the end of Gossamer's adventures abroad.
Gossamer:  Hahaha.  You called me "a broad."

Wow, you really piled on the updates! So, see ya Kyte, don't worry Annelee, you didn't want to win anyways.
I think I'll root for Gossamer, she seems like a good potential mother.
Annalee, you should meet Nadia!
Annalee: She's a flea-bitten wolf isn't she.

Zheena:  Taxi will be here any minute!  Come on, people!!



Pippin:  Zheena was excited for the trip to Sang Simla.  After the long flight, they finally arrived.



Zheena:  Okay, you're abrasive, you're borderline unstable, and you're not wearing pants.  I'm going to pretend I don't know any of you.



Pippin:  Zheena spent a good amount of time on her first day taking photos.
Zheena:  Look at these views!!  Now could you look like you're doing something impressive?  That would make a better shot.



Pippin:  Zheena met a celebrity.
Zheena:  Hey, weren't you the guy from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame?"



Pippin:  And she joined her traveling companions for a meal.
Zheena:  If any of you start belching or licking your plates clean, I'm outta here!



Pippin:  Then, she found a hidden staircase.
Zheena:  Gossamer, stop being a statue and come with me.



Zheena:  In fact, why don't you go first, just in case there are mummies or things.
Gossamer:  Okay!
Pippin:  But there were no mummies, just a bit of treasure.  The next day,



Pippin:  Zheena started defacing public property.
Zheena:  Again, it's called "street art."



Pippin:  And as Zheena was doing her second work of "street art,"



Officer:  I'm going to have to cite you for defacing public property.



Pippin:  Told you so.
Zheena:  Shut up, Pippin.
Officer:  Excuse me?
Zheena:  Nothing.  You're cute.  We should see each other again sometime.



Pippin:  After a lecture, Zheena went off to bed.  But the next day...



Zheena:  What's a good spot for a mural?
Pippin:  What about the policeman?
Zheena:  No, I don't think I should do a mural on him.



Zheena:  A hidden tomb and national treasure.  Perfect!



Zheena:  See  I told you we should see each other again.
Pippin:  And on her final day in Sang Simla,



Phezelle:  So, do you think you're going to get arrested again?
Zheena:  No, I think I've got this figured out.



Pippin:  And she did.  She finished her mural in the hidden tomb,



Pippin:  and tagged another wall.  And of course, as we've learned by now, the best way to end an international trip...



Pippin:  is swimming through a dive hole to tag another wall?
Zheena:  Yep.  That's how I do!

Pippin:  Each of our young adults needs to max 3 skills to complete their degree.  Therefore, each could be scored by how many points they have earned out of the 30 possible skill points.  Given that, here is our leader board after the girls returned from their trip to Shang Simla.

Phezelle Chill, majoring in athletics, is striving to max the athletics skill, cooking, and martial arts.



At the moment, she has a 7 in athletics, 3 in cooking,  and 4 in martial arts for a total score of 14.

Gossamer Fallows, is also majoring in athletics, so she is maxing the same skills.

   

The lovable fairy and self-proclaimed princess of the monkey unicorns has a 7 in athletics, a 3 in cooking, and a 5 in martial arts for a total of 15.

Billow Gaines, who is majoring in music, is trying to max piano, guitar, and bass.



She is currently at 6 in piano, 6 in guitar, and 2 in bass for a total of 14.

And finally, Zheena Ghast is majoring in Art and is trying to max painting, street art, and photography.



Her current scores are 5 in painting, 5 in street art, and a 4 in photography for a total of 14.

It's anyone's competition at this point.  The winner will be starting their "Who's Your Daddy Challenge" in Isla Paradiso.  Pick a favorite, and enjoy the show!

So, Gossamer's in the lead by one point. Awfully close!

Right now when seeing the score, it seems like everyone are tied at 14 except Gossamer who is leading by 1 point. So, she has high hopes of winning this challenge. But the scores are so close to each other that it can be anybody's game.

Wow, I missed so much! Congratulations to the final four competitors for making it this far! Now, I will choose a favourite. As a fairy with pink wings and a pretty blue hairstyle who is obsessed with unicorns, Gossamer is the clear choice, although Billow was a reasonable second. I don't like the other two as they are too mean. And look! Gossamer is in the lead as well! Keep it up, Gossamer!

Pippin:  The girls are back in town!



Billow:  Let me out here!!



Billow:  Alright, everyone, it's time to jam!  Or jelly.  I'm good either way.



Pippin:  Gossamer is cooking and the fire department is standing by.
Gossamer:  I didn't wet the floor, I swear!!



Pippin:  What are you painting, Zheena?
Zheena:  This is my mural of Phezelle.  She has something special in her eyes, you know.
Pippin:  Really?  What's that?
Zheena:  Angst.



Phezelle:  What say we all blow off skilling and have a night on the town?
Zheena:  Do we have to bring the fairy along?
Phezelle:  Would you rather she stay here and build a lead?
Zheena:  Gossamer!!  We're heading out!!  Put on your loveliest apparel.



Gossamer:  My dress matches my hair!!
Billow:  This outfit is formal enough.
Phezelle:  At least she's not wearing her swimwear or jammies in public again.



Zheena:  Wow, this place is really...lame.
Phezelle:  Yeah, we are almost the entire crowd.



Gossamer:  Hey, when did you guys get here?
Zheena:  We came in the cab with you, remember?



Pippin:  Phezelle is so competitive that she intimidates the foosball players.



Zheena:  Hello, Zoe Durwood.  Can I make you a drink?
Zoe:  I'm underage.
Zheena:  That is not an answer.



Billow:  What is this fabulous music?!?!
Pippin:  That's NPR talk radio.
Billow:  I love it!!!



Gossamer:  Hi, teeny bopper!!  I'm a fairy!!  With pink wings!!  You're younger than me, but since I'm a fairy, you'll die way before I do!!
Zoe:  I...umm...uh...



Zheena:  Yep.  The fairy is a few glowbugs shy of a swarm, if you take my meaning.



Pippin:  Are you still dancing to talk radio?
Billow:  Yep!  Just can't help myself!
Ellody:  You look ridiculous.



Billow:  I can fix that!  Mirror, do your thing!





Billow:  There!  Now I don't look ridiculous.
Ellody:  Whatever, kid.  I think it's time to head home.



Gossamer:  Do you have a sewing machine in there?  Are you a seamstress?  Or a seamster?  Or whatever a guy of that would be?
Mirror:  Umm, the mirror is not in right now.  Please leave a message.  *Beep*



Zheena:  Well, I think we could use a ride home, and nobody seems to be using this particular car, so...
Pippin:  I guess her brushes with the law have not had much of an impact.

I love their night out, especially Billow dancing to NPR. And Zheena stealing the Big Lemon. But I think I'm rooting for the princess of the monkey unicorns -- there's something about pink wings.

It's fun trying to find new ways to play in Billow's insane trait.  I had been presenting her as the "flighty" one in the initial posts, so this is just further development of the character. 
Agreed, pink wings are pretty awesome!

Thanks!  I had to come up with something condescending for the supernatural skeptic to say, and that just popped in my mind.  I had to use that shot of Zheena because I thought she looked really pretty in it.

Pippin:  After their night out at Varg's Tavern, the girls came home for some much needed rest.



Zheena:  I'm going to save time by crawling straight from the bathroom into my bed.
Pippin:  That's...not possible...



Pippin:  The next day, our athletics majors were both building their cooking skills.
Gossamer:  I should be a cook in a restaurant!
Phezelle:  You should be a side show freak in a cage.



Gossamer:  Done!!
Pippin:  Now we just need to get the maid in here to clean up the kitchen.



Ellody:  You can have him in a moment.  We're having some bonding time.
Pippin:  Don't you already have a boyfriend?
Ellody:  Don't you have those obnoxious little girls to watch?



Pippin:  Phezelle seems rather focused on her martial arts training, Billow is heading to the piano, and Gossamer...fell of the treadmill?
Gossamer:  I will conquer you, walky thing!!!



Pippin:  And what are you doing Zheena?
Zheena:  Painting a rare an beautiful work of art, of course.



Pippin:  I thought you were going to play the piano?
Billow:  It was so far away!



Pippin:  And we still aren't getting anything cleaned up in here...
Ellody:  Here's a video of me singing karaoke.



Gossamer:  Look!!  I've meditated so well, I can fly!!
Pippin:  You're a fairy, you can fly anyway...



Zheena:  As stated, rare and beautiful work of art.
Pippin:  Self-portrait, huh?
Zheena:  Of course.  I am a rare and beautiful work of art.



Phezelle:  There are two awesome young ladies in this shot, and I'm both of them.



Zheena:  As soon as I finish this wall mural, I am so going all sorts of Phezelle on this zombie!



Pippin:  But it seems the zombie is a fan of your work.
Zheena:  She's still going down once I'm finished!



Pippin:  But that zombie didn't last that long.



Pippin:  And as the household watched, a black-robed figure came around to collect the spirit of the zombie lady.



Gossamer:  Hi new friend!!!
Grim:  Umm...hi?
Gossamer:  Let's play!!!



Grim:  What?  Oh, whoa.  That's really...something...
Gossamer:  I'm pink!!!
Grim:  Yes, you...certainly are.



Gossamer:  Here, I got you pink flowers!
Grim:  Oh, aren't you adorable!  I need to get going, though...



Gossamer:  And look!!!  Cat videos!!!
Grim:  Well, I guess I could stay for a minute longer...

Pippin:  Gossamer?  Is there something you need to tell us?



Gossamer:  Yes.  The autumn salad has gone bad!
Pippin:  At any rate, the girls continued their skill-building.  Billow on the bass,



Pippin:  Zheena was painting,



Pippin:  Phezelle was cooking, while standing in a puddle of water by the once again broken dishwasher,



Pippin:  and Gossamer was Sim fu fighting.



Pippin:  But it's not all work and no play for the girls.  They decided to have a night out and went to the winter festival.



Zheena:  Some of us deserve a day of pampering.



Zheena:  That's more like it!  How's it going over there, Phezelle?



Phezelle:  Awkward.  Very awkward.



Billow:  I came to make new friends!!  Out of snow!!



Gossamer:  I made a snow fairy!
Pippin:  Isn't it a snow angel?
Gossamer:  No, 'cause it has wings.



Zheena:  How dare you bring your ectoplasmic behind in here around all the normal people!



Zheena:  You must be taught a lesson!



Zheena:  Go back to whatever Netherworld spawned you, nasty thing!
Pippin:  And while Zheena is abusing innocent supernaturals,



Pippin:  Billow is shredding the half-pipe



Pippin:  However, it was eventually time to head home...



Pippin:  and give candy to the wintertime trick or treaters?
