Sorry not really, money tree seeds are often a little darker than the other special seeds but I've never payed much attention to worth, I think that's pretty variable anyway.
I usually just collect every special seed I come across and plant them all, knowing that if it glows it's a plasma fruit eliminates those ones so that leaves you with life fruit, death flower, flame fruit or money tree, two of those you need anyway for your dynasty and the others are useful for the money so it's worth just planting them all.
EDIT: My gardener had a special seed worth 25, I planted it then used the greenhouse growing station to speed it along and it turned out to be a life fruit, but without the others to compare I can't say if that price is useful, my plasma seed was worth 50 and the money tree seeds dropped from my trees were worth 0 so as I said it's variable.
