Love to see Snow white in the story. The castle is  fabulous. So, Rose is back. Can't wait to see what will happen next.

The last picture is evily cute. Maybe that Rose isn't so bad after all. P.S. Why does Snow have a halo in the last pic? It suits her  ;D

I just hope that Ravenna is not evil, but seeing Snow as evil person is interesting too. So, who is older? Snow or Ravenna?

It's not a halo but the top of the wall light.  Love this story Mel.  Marvelous to blend the first part with this episode.  Great work intl_incedent!

I believe I am going to have quite a bit of fun with Snow White's story.  ;)

Magz is correct it is not a halo, but it couldn't have been placed in a more perfect place lol.
And as for what Rose is or is not, we will see, but she is definitely unstable.

I just hope that Ravenna is not evil, but seeing Snow as evil person is interesting too. So, who is older? Snow or Ravenna?
Haha Ravenna and Snow will always be opposites, take that as you will.
They are twins, but Snow was born first.

The Magical World: Chapter 32 – Family
« Reply #200 on: December 17, 2013, 11:35:51 PM »
Snow

Family. It seems like such a foreign word to me. Rose took charge of my upbringing and protection. She taught me how to walk, she snuggled away my tears, but without anyone having to tell me I knew she wasn’t my mother.

Thankfully, she never asked me to call her mom. She was to be called Rose. That was her first rule of two. The other was that I was never to leave the tower. I often dreamed about traveling to distant lands where I would stumble upon a small cottage, and be greeted by my real parents and perhaps a sibling.

It was not as if I hated it here though. I didn’t understand how I had come to be in Rose’s care instead of my parents, but I had grown to be very fond of her. She had raised me after all. But I must admit, I equally loved her and feared her. I feared her enough, never to ask of my true lineage.

Most of my days were either spent inventing games for myself to play, bugging Kamaria to tell me stories of exotic places, or hosting tea parties with my favorite doll.

I couldn’t explain it, but this doll felt irreplaceable. I talked to it whenever I felt sad or lonely. It was almost as if someone was actually listening to me, but I know that’s just crazy right?

Ravenna

Family. Mine is broken. There are my grandparents and Sebastian, but there’s a generational gap. Empty seats. My parents should be sitting there and someone else too.

I am not blind. I see the sad smiles on everyone’s faces as they avoid “that” room. I do not wish to cause my grandparents anymore pain, but he knows. I know he does.

This doll is my prized possession. I treasure it. He told me once when I was a toddler that I should always hold on to it. That it was special, and would protect me. He may think that I do not remember, but I never forget…

I have horrible dreams where I see them all alone and suffering. Mama… Papa... Snow... I even see the evil one who took Snow away sometimes too. What really happened? Why won’t anyone tell me? At times I also see a faraway place, a tower. Could that be where they are? I’m too afraid to ask.

One night, however, my dreams took a turn for the worst. There were no family members, only me. I ran through the night. The forest was dark and sweltering. Suddenly there was a voice in my head that kept getting louder, screeching! I looked up and realized it was coming from the moon, a full moon. It kept telling me to do things I didn’t want to do. I fought in vain, as it overpowered me, and it began. The pain…the pain…

I awoke screaming. Sebastian rushed to room, taking me in his arms. I couldn’t stop shaking. He looked at me, “You’re burning up!” I hardly even heard him, “The forest… Hot… Moon… Pain…” “Your eyes…” He was confusing me. I hadn’t said anything about my eyes. “What?” He shook his head, “Never mind, let me get you some water.”

That was only the first of many such dreams to come.

This might seem a bit random, but where did you get the Jack Skellington pattern on Ravenna's dress? Also, great update.  :)

It's wonderful to see the story from both sides of the sisters story and that they both adore their dolls.

Two points of view packaged in one chapter, which was awesome.

I loved Ravenna looks than Snow. She looks so... awfully adorable, especially with that hair. I just wonder how their doll would take part into their life. I felt bad for them both, but my feeling is toward Ravenna. Sorry, Snow :P

Lol it is a CC pattern I picked up from the exchange a while back I think.

It's wonderful to see the story from both sides of the sisters story and that they both adore their dolls.
I'm glad you think so, because even though it is Snow's story, both girls are important in it.

Both of children are gorgeous, I can't wait to see what happen next! Especially for the moment when Ravenna become an evil queen that's a priceless moment!
Lol as I've said before I only took the name Ravenna from that movie. Her character will actually follow a much different path.  ;)

The last picture of Ravenna is priceless. She looks sooo cute, and soooo evil!
I know! I adore her.

Ravenna is my favorite too. Alas I can't neglect poor Snow.  ;D

The Magical World: Chapter 33 – Who Is the Fairest?
« Reply #207 on: December 22, 2013, 03:28:45 AM »
Sebastian

I had not anticipated the recent turn of events. This family never ceases to intrigue me. Ravenna’s eyes from that night still fill my thoughts, for they can only mean one thing. Why must she be burdened with so much? I wish I could keep it all from her, protect her from it all. I will have to keep a closer eye on her in the future.

Kamaria

Snow had a peaceful, but rather lonely childhood. In light of this, I made an effort to spend as much time with the child as Rosalie allowed me.

In our time together I also managed to get my hands on that doll of hers. The moment I touched it I saw a face of a beautiful woman. I’m not entirely sure what to make of it yet, but I am certain she is tied to the life force inside the doll.

One evening Snow and I were spending our time much like any other evening. With me working on alchemy, and her chatting my ear off. Suddenly she grew quiet, however, and then spoke up, “Kamaria?” “What is it?” “I noticed there is no bedroom here for you in the tower. Where do you sleep?” I turned to face her and smiled, “I don’t sleep darling. I haven’t for a long time.” She looked startled, “Then what do you do with all that extra time?” I waved my hands around dramatically, “Magic!” We both burst into laughter.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Rosalie watching us. I wondered why she was being so creepy…well at least why she was being creepy right now.

Rosalie

She was beautiful…
Too beautiful.

I stood in front of that wretched mirror every day too afraid to ask the question. Imagine. Me…afraid! No, I’m not afraid of anything, and definitely not anyone.

And yet, there she is growing more beautiful with each passing year. I care for her, but I feel other feelings stirring. Deep inside. I don’t wish them to, but I can’t help it. I must know. I must ask.

“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” “…She a thousand times fairer than you, and on a full moon your reign will be through.” I shrieked in rage, “NOOO!!!”

How can this be? I raised her! How could she betray me?! She wouldn’t! She couldn’t! But then I began to see it… Snow staring off into the distance, probably planning where she will go when she escapes here. Snow working hard on her skills, no doubt to create a battle strategy. And most importantly, Snow developing a close relationship with my witch, no doubt trying to win over my minions to her side.

Blast! How could I have been so blind?! I should have squashed her when she was a toddler, but no matter I will destroy her now.

I have seen Snow now I can't wait to see Ravenna. Lol, I laughed when I see the part that she only realized that now, why doesn't she destroy her when she got that chance? Where are you all this time, Rosalie? Hello?

If I am her, I'll destroy Snow as soon as possible. Or, using my fairy magic to make her ugly and she’d never gain her beauty back. Simple as that, evil but charming!
