Game crashes after hours of playing

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to play too many hours of the sims?  I've had this happen on a few occasions, not that often but very annoying depending on how you look at it  I have a macbook and had my laptop on for hours playing the game and then all of a sudden the game would quit unexpectedly and I'd be brought back to my desktop.  Very annoying but then again it did happen to me last night and it went back to where I still had my job.  I had quit my job as an astronaut but now it takes me back to where I might want to change some decisions I had made.

Is there a way to fix this or do I need to periodically clear cache files or something in order for my game to not quit unexpectedly like that?

Actually the game sometimes just memory leaks to the point where the computer has to shut it down.  The best advice I can give you is to save often and restart every couple of hours.

Thanks Ricalynn I was thinking that.  It makes sense to save and then restart after awhile.
