That is my son, he goes you have to set a goal and that is the end of the game, games have to have a finish.
I keep telling him, I don't have a set goal, I want to maybe go to five generations, or do a certain thing, but that doesn't mean the game ends, I can just continue on if I want.
Or, I can stop playing that game and start another family. That isn't quitting, it just switching families.
He played one time, chose the medical field and built his sim a square box home. He had his sim eat at the park most of the time although he ordered pizza sometimes. That was it, no going out, no talking to others, just going to work, working on skills, take care of basic needs and when he reached level 10, that was the end of the game. He won't ever be playing it again.
He just doesn't get it. Life doesn't end in real life at a set time; we have changes, marry, divorce, suffer losses, have happy events, go to college, get a job or find a new job, retire, get old, watch those we love die and mourn them and then we die and hope others mourn our passing.
