Where do we find the dragon eggs in Buy Mode?

I made a Sim of my sister-in-law and turned her into a fairy.  It makes me laugh just to look at her.  She had an egg in the house she bought (Cozy Cottage at 91 Dagda Drive).  She talked to it about nothing but the weather and it hatched green.  She got another egg from the lowest level of the O'Connell mansion.  With that one, she talked only about friends and it hatched Purple.  I looked at the graveyard, but didn't see any.

I did find the dragon eggs at the graveyard after all.  The Eames couple was there talking to them and the husband even took one of them.  He put it back down a few minutes later to talk to it and my Sim snatched it right out from under his nose!  She got all three of them and they hatched to be a red, black, and purple.

EDITED:  For some reason  what I posted only showed the quote.  What I said was you can find an egg under the library.  Look for a break in the fence by the shrubs.  There's a stair going down into a darkened room which circles around to a second stair.  Go down again, circle around to the door into a lit room with an egg in the center surrounded by chairs.

Good on you Pam!  By any chance do you know what all the wells are about?  Are they wishing wells or just decorative?  I keep finding them hidden in the trees and out of the way places.

@Joria.  The dragons were not new.  One of the dragons, she had already had for a couple of sim days and I did leave it on the ground for a while, went back and still no interaction.

You can also fine dragon eggs in décor.

I found another place where you can find a dragon egg, at the festival when you put it down.  Give it a few hours and it should show up.  Don't wait too long as one of the townies will get it!
I did as Pam did, snatched it from under a townie's nose  , took it home and talked to it for the two hours remaining about the weather and get a purple dragon.

This is with a new game, I deleted all of my old ones and wanted to start a fresh one.  She has a purple and red dragon, now I need to find some more eggs, or just buy them and get the green and black one.  They can keep some of your moodlets full for you.

The festival lot was made by SimGuruSmitty and linked in a post a page back.  You would have to download it and then place it.   Although it doesn't seem to actually have festivals.  Mine doesn't anyway.

Ah, I thought it was just me who wasn't having festivals.  I designated the lot type, I'm not sure why it isn't happening ...

No it has something to do with the way the lot is made.  I'm going to do a test today by putting it in another world when I get done some other stuff.  I'll let you know.

Since summer was on when I placed the festival, I didn't see anything that showed it was there like you do in other towns, the carnival tent (map view).  However, when I sent my sim there, there was the skating rink and other summer items.

I will have to wait for fall to come to see if they do the announcement that the festival has come to town.  It happens in all of the other store worlds, so I don't see why it wouldn't happen in this one. 

Off topic, but a quick question, for the festival in MV, does it cost or is it free like the one for DV?  I have been using the one from MF and it works out great, does the announcement and all, but still, if there is one specific for MF free, then I think I would like to get it.

It doesn't happen in this one because the lot wasn't correctly made.  That's why.  It won't come up there is a festival because something about the town or the lot is wrong.  I can't figure out what but I've been doing a lot of saves in this file for testing and none of them have an active festival.

The festival lot for Monte Vista is the same as Dragon Valley.  One of the SimGurus made it and the link is available in it's thread. 


Edit to add: The Dragon Valley Townies List now also has the two homeless townie households listed with their information.

Funny how I keep getting the message about Leisure day in Dragon Valley and there is no lot for it.  The day is even circled in red.

Leisure day is a result of the season not the festival.  You will get the holiday because you have Seasons.   Holidays and Festivals are two different things.
