Sims 3 Store World - Dragon Valley

I'm not joining this one with my previous one as I don't want it to get too long and it is a bit different.

I went to the graveyard to check and see if there  were any eggs.  None.  Sent my sim to the pup to find a dragon egg, found it and took it home.  She mixed in between talking about friends getting her mail and using the bathroom.  She talked about friends only; and when the egg hatched it was a purple dragon.   She fed and played with her dragon, Ragnor for a bit.
While she is painting I go and check the graveyard; no eggs.  After a bit I go back, and there are still no eggs, but now there is a red dragon sleeping between two headstones and at the other end of the building is a purple dragon sleeping.  Send her over and she can't get to them and the red one is shooting flames at her.  Send her home give it a couple of minutes and send her back.  And now there is a black dragon walking around.  He lets her pick him up, she names him and takes him home.  Go into edit and move the red and purple dragons from the headstones.  Send her back and they now let her pick them up. 
She now has two purple dragons, Risa and Ragnor, a black dragon, Spectre and a red dragon Keita.  I saved and later on will check to see if after a couple of days (sim) has passed there are any more dragons and she can get them.   

I don't know if it was a glitch or why the eggs had been hatched and there were three of them, so I am going to check  two other games in that town and see what I can find there.

The eggs are in the graveyard every time I load the game.  However, townies can pick up those eggs and talk to them to start the hatching process.  I've loaded Dragon Valley over 60 times in the last 48 hours and only noticed them about halfway in but they have been there all day as I tested stuff today.

I just downloaded the gold version and the new venue. Does anyone know if the free-with-gold-version celtic lands set is supposed to show seperately in the purchase history, or is it included in the dragon valley? Just hoping it's included, or else I don't seem to have got it.

It didn't show up in my Purchase History, either, and the items weren't showing up in my game.  However, I downloaded it here and now the items show up just fine.

You're all making me SO jealous! I've been on holiday (without Sims!!) this week and I'm getting this the minute I get back!

The pictures of the townies that Rica posted look AMAZING! I'm so pleased to see some more interesting yet attractive pre-mades!

FYI:  (For your information)   Sims get stuck in the small fountains in front of the big fountain in the park.  You have to resetSim to get them out, or go into build/buy mode on that lot and lift them out.  They WILL keep coming back so the only solution I know of is fence off those small fountains/pools.  This is an issue in AS as well.

While playing my game, I panned over to the cemetery to see if there were any eggs.  My sim already had a purple one, but I wanted a green one.  While inspecting the cemetery, there wasn't any visible eggs, but when I was watching a couple of ghosts, they had the bubble over their head with an egg.  As I watched, both ghosts, took an egg from their inventory and set it on the ground and talked to it.  They left them there, so I had my sim go to the cemetery.  While she was enroute, one of the eggs hatched into a green dragon, yay.  Since she already had a dragon in her inventory, she had to carry this one home.  When I play again, will have her put her dragons on the floor at home and go back and see if I can get a different color one.  So I suppose that is one way you can get a dragon.  Wonder if all ghosts have an egg in their inventory.  I love these dragons.

Just a fun fact, in Robin and Marion's house, there is a dumpster in the basement that you can dumpster dive in!  Also, Little Red Riding hood starts with a picnic basket in her inventory, which I thought was cute!

I love how they have characters such as Robin Hood and Maid Marion and the Riding Hood as townies.  I wonder if there are any others, I will have to recheck out the families to see what I find. 

I think I will review the childhood stories and see if I can come up with some to have as a family. 

I want to double check, we have to add the elixir shop and any other of the supernatural buildings we want, right?  Can't wait to play some more today and see where the festival is placed at.  I am going to place the venue near the novice building, feel it will a good place to place it. 
Where are others placing their venue at?

The festival lot will not automatically place.  They specifically engineered this world so nothing would auto place when you start a game.  So festival lot, elixir shop, consignment shop, all of that has to be placed or built.


Edit to add: If anyone can think of anything that really needs to be addressed for dynasties, speak up now so I can make sure it's covered in the ruling.

This is obvious probably, but the no changing the town rule will have to be addressed since you HAVE to change the town to have the different venues.

Anyone found a spot for death fish?

I greatly amuse myself pronouncing some of the names.  Glad I'm part of an active, Gaelic/Celtic community.  (Irish step dancing and singer teen).  The "g or h" can make the previous consonent silent, so ceilidh or ceilidgh is pronounced kay lee, or Americanized to kelly.  S usually has an sh sound to it, so Sioban is Shivan or Shifan with a soft sound to the i.  Lovely, musical language!

I am sooooo loving this world.  I doubt I'll play anywhere else, well, at least until the new EP comes out.

Also - no changing the town means the lots there when EA made it.  Adding lots is already covered in those rules.  Please double check them.

Thank you, Rica.  And the name of the pond/lake/river where deathfish are found is?  I can't see well enough to decipher letters on a map, so by your courtesy, the name would be appreciated.  Nice that there are two places for them.
