Sims 3 Store World - Dragon Valley

If you buy the more expensive version of Dragon Valley, you'll get an extra 1900 Sim points with which to purchase the Ren Faire venue (which contains the violin). Of course, if you already have 1900 Simpoints, you could go for the cheaper version. If you have both Dragon Valley and the Ren Faire venue, then the black dragon is unlocked, but I assume that you'll have to do the right things with the egg in order to get a black dragon instead of one of the other colors.

Have they said whether or not all four dragons come from the same eggs?  I know the dragons in original Sims all came from the same egg, and how the egg was treated determined what colour dragon you got, but I don't remember hearing if it was going to be the same way with these dragons.

I got the impression that each dragon came with it's own egg.  I don't know if the egg is colored for the type of dragon.  It was stated that you can buy them, or be lucky and find them throughout the land.  You can have as many as you want, but only one in inventory and one on your shoulder. 
So from that I am gathering that you could leave the green drgon home while you go to town, the red dragon on your shoulder with the purple one in inventory.  When you returned home and wanted to work in the garden, you just put one of the dragons up and put the green one on your shoulder and go out into the garden.

Didn't the lady state that one of the test players had 50 dragons in her house?

I need to watch the video again, I guess.

All four dragons are their own buy mode premium content so I doubt it would all be the same egg since they are four different items.

There is a single Dragon Egg available in Buy Mode.  How you talk to it will influence (but not dictate) what color it hatches into. 

I'm not sure just what "influence but not dictate" means, but it sounds like it is, as MarianT said, one egg that can hatch dragons of different colours depending on how you treat the egg.

Most likely something along the lines of how eating a small number of Apples or Watermelons skews the birth gender odds.

I think it is similar to the apples/watermelon thing. Each time you talk about a certain topic with the egg the higher the chances of it hatching into a dragon relating to that topic, yet it's never a certain thing. So you could talk about fitness and fire but could still end up with a purple, green, or armoured black(if you have the venue) dragon.

Definitely my impression of different eggs for each type of dragon from the video was off by a landslide   

I wonder if the red one could be infuenced if a sim has the athletic trait and an exercise room that has a fireplace in it.  If the sim has the athletic trait and talks to others about athletic skills or has a career in sports that could influence it also. 

This is pure speculation, we will find out in a few days.

My impression is that it is interactions with the egg itself. Talking to it about different things, and traits may hold some sway. I do not think decor has any influence at all.

I can't believe how I am wanting this store world so much I am wondering if it will be at midnight that I can download it, and what time zone.  Sheeeesh, really sad that I am so hooked on this world. 

I just hope that I am not disappointed in it.
