Sims 3 Store World - Dragon Valley

How long with the live broadcast last?  I'm not sure I will be able to watch it as we have a plumber comiing today.  I am gathering that a transcript and pictures will be posted here but still wishing I will be able watch it.

I guess we will learn about any new dragons.  I want a blue one!

The broadcasts usually last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes and they always make it so you can watch it later if you can't watch it live.  So don't stress yourself out over it.

Just finished watching the broadcast. The fact that that picture had the fourth dragon in it was a leak, but has been confirmed as a special dragon only available when you have both Dragon Valley and the Renfaire venue. All that was said about it was that it was called the 'Armoured Black baby dragon'.

I think it is wonderful how they have truly gone a bit more wild with the townies, playing with the colour palettes and ear sliders to make them more elfen looking and fantasy based. No more need to use plastice surgery to get pointy eared children, huh Rica?

I don't know if I went to the right site.  I brought up the launcher and clicked where it remarked about the broadcast, but a pop-up showed up and said I needed to have Google Chrome. 

Is there a way to see the broadcast without having Google Chrome?  I don't intent to download Chrome, it just doesn't appeal to me. 
So, does that leave me out of seeing it? I will be content to get the info here, but it would be nice to watch a recording of the broadcast.

Some have said that finding an Armored Black Dragon is a bad omen and surely its presence is a sign of evil on the horizon but the truth is that these mysterious critters are beyond the trappings of traditional “good vs. evil”. They are born with an inherent understanding of many of the Reaper’s secrets, a burden that often makes them detached and distant.



For reasons the Armored Black Dragons think best to keep to themselves, being around them gives the Mark of the Black Dragon moodlet, benefiting their companions with bonuses of Energy and Hunger. Every Armored Black Dragon knows that the cycles of death are far, far, more logical than the cycles of life and will occasionally discuss those things with Sims to help them become more logical. 



Armored Black Dragons have conquered fear by twisting it into a powerful tool to use against others. If they find a Sim particularly annoying they can turn their onyx stare into a curse so heinous that some have even transformed into a soulless zombie! 



Armored Black Dragons have a kinship with the dead so they can summon ghosts that can haunt an area or give your Sim a chance to talk to those that have passed to the other side. 



But the reason the Black Armored Dragon is arguably the most powerful of all of the dragons is its ability to summon a free pass for the next time the Grim Reaper is around in the form of a Death Flower!

Armored Black Dragons are exclusively unlocked for those customers that have both the World and the new “Duke of Bows Renaissance Faire” venue.

Yeah I'm excited for townies but I haven't been able to finish watching the broadcast.  My niece fell into the corner of a wall and she's 16 months old so I spent most of the broadcast in a rocking chair soothing her and I'm just now getting back to the computer.  I wanted you guys to see the blog as well as the venue info as soon as it's available.  Should be soon I hope.

Ooh, as soon as I found out about this set I told my husband, and he's saying I can get it! :3 I'm so excited, I'll have to see if he will get me the armored black dragon as well.

I really like the look of the black dragon but I don't think I'll be able to afford both the world and the venue. I'll have to check the piggy bank to see how much pocket money I've got...

I'm very excited about this set, especially the green dragon that can harvest all the plants on a lot! All my gardener sims are rejoicing.

I saw the end of the live broadcast, when the lady was showing off the new venue. I love the inclusion of archery and violins! I'm not sure if I can really afford to buy this world but it does look tempting.

If I'm understanding it right, when you buy the gold version you will get some simpoints, which can then be used to buy the venue.  If I understood that wrong, please someone correct me. 

No blue dragon     I really, really wanted one.  Oh well, I like the black one a LOT so I will just get one of them, his name will be Feargus.  I want two at least, so which one will I get first?  Decisions, decisions . . .

Something that I am wondering about, if they live eternal -- and we know they will remain babies always -- does that mean they will never die?   That to me means they are immortal so what happens when the sim dies?  Will they just switch to another family member, if you are doing a generational game? 

A whole week, now I just have to cross my finger that it won't cost a whole lot more to get the plumbing problem fixed and I have to give up the store world.  Yeah, I remembered not to say expansion pack

That's right.  The gold version costs $10 more and comes with extra simpoints.  From what was said in the video, it sounds like the extra simpoints will be just enough to buy the new venue which comes with black dragons, archery, and violins.  Guess I know what I'm going to be spending my money on this month!
