I like this dragon! I think I'll be needing one of each. I do, however, object to their use of the word hipster. They don't seem to have used it correctly, in my humble opinion.

So do I! I actually reread the word and sentence a few times, i was sure I had misread it. It just is an odd choice for an adjective (or wait maybe an adverb, I get them confused!)

All in all I am VERY excited about this world! And the dragons! We keep thinking that they revealed them all then out comes another blog, haha. I love the 3 that are in it, I am just curious if thats all or if there will be more. Only time will tell

Did you see the well in the background of those last two shots? Awesome! A better option than a dive pool with a roof (not that those have not been done fantastically)

Not sure what i'll name my red and green one yet.  Other than Sypro, I don't think there are many dragons in video games.  I'll probably pull names from Dragonlance.

What is this Dragon Chronicles of which you speak?

There is a series of paranormal/fantasy romance that I love to read, Dragon Kin.  The books are funny, but pretty graphic in the violence (there is a war going on) and sex, but a great series.  I think I will use the names from the characters, colors wouldn't match, not if a person wants to keep true to the Sim dragon's abilities, however.. .    Ragnor (I think he is the Cunning) is a Lightening dragon, a battle mage; all lightening dragons are purple.  Vigholf (the Abhorrent) is another lightening.  Of the Fire dragons (main dragons), there is Feargus (the Destroyer) black, Brice (the Mighty) silver, Keita (the Viper) red, Eibhear (the Contemptible) is blue are just a few.   There are Sand dragons, all gold, Iron dragons, steel color, Ice dragons, don't know what color they are but not white, Eastland dragons, don't know what color, Sulien is a Volcano dragon, his colors are black with red tips, don't know what his "title" is. 

I think I will use these names, trying to match up as close as possble the temperment -- funny, arrogrant, kind, mean, and others.  Also, the humans, Annwyl the Bloody, the Blood Queen, Dagmar the Beast, Talaith (she is an assassin), and Iseabail the Dangerous are just a few of the humans.

Oh, goodness. I'm so excited for this world - and then again I was kind of excited for Aurora Skies, until I heard other people expressing disappointment. I agree that it sounds like the perfect place to let supernaturals run wild, though!

The Dragonlance Chronicles is a huge series from the 80's and 90's. It sounds a lot like what Janna was talking about--pretty graphic, but the characters are seriously amazing and hilarious, and you get so involved in them and their story.

I bought Aurora Skies on a whim really as I had some birthday money left and I really wanted that ponytail, the actual world doesn't do a lot for me unlike Monte Vista which I love, so I'm being a little more cautious over this but it's hard because I have had a dragon obsession for years.

I think if I do get it I too shall be picking names from Dragonlance, love that series, Raistlin Majere was my favourite character which might explain my like of evil sims 

Pern dragons too, lots of names there to choose from, but this is all a bit off topic, so back on topic, I was looking at the store and that wisteria really caught my eye, one thing I do like is getting new plants with store worlds and wall climbers are few and far between, my dynasty house is smothered in ivy from Monte Vista and I'd love some wisteria to add to it.

And those roof decorations are lovely as well, looking forward to the broadcast and seeing more of it.

I think Raistlin is either a red, black, or gold dragon--if there is a black or gold dragon!

Looking at the background of the purple dragon pictures, I see lots of gorgeous scenery, which only makes me want the world more! I'm pretty sure this one will be a best-seller.

Its getting kind of off topic I know, But Raistlin wasn't a dragon azokka, he was a red, and then a black, mage.  Though he did have a green dragon under his control for a while.

Paranormal romances (PNR)  generally covers vampires, weres/shifters, witches, ghosts, demons and other "supernatural" beings.  They are what could be seen as "real" over fantasy, such as the dragons, unicorns, dwarfs, centaurs, and other beings of that type.   Many authors do a blending of them all, paranormal with fantasy, such as G. A. Aiken's Dragon Kin; dragons, and others beings/creatures.  Some beings are both paranormal and fantasy, such as pixie, or fae, although they are more fantasy, but can fits into the paranormal.   Aikens's series is really more fantasy due to the dragons, centaurs, unicorns and other fantasy creatures, but the dragons and centaurs are shifters and there is magic being cast by mages and witches, which makes it paranormal.   
It's a fine line to walk over what books, movies or even games fit into what genre, paranormal, fantasy, sci-fi, or a mixture of them all -- or even some new ones.   

Aikens has a wicked sense of humor and is a great story teller.

okay, back on topic, I think there will be a blue dragon, have no proof, just a wild guess, but I think they will do one more color, who knows probably more.  We will find out soon, but not soon enough for me.
