Sims 3 Store World - Dragon Valley

That's cool.  Hmm...if/when I get this world...how shall I play it.  I guess I won't be playing an inventor.  Simbots just wouldn't fit well in the world.

Unless you enjoy the nonsensical juxtaposition of Magic and Technology like I do

SimGuruHydra said in the Sims 4 Q&A that Dragon Valley is due to come out at the end of this Month for Sims 3 Store purchase.  No date as of yet for when you'll be able to buy retail.

@Janna - You know this isn't an expansion right?  An expansion is completely different.  This is just a world.  No major gameplay beyond the dragons will really be added.

Ooh, gardening? I was thinking it looked sort of neat but probably not enough to spend money on, but it depends what this gardening thing turns out to be.

Hmmm...seems like it might be hinting at some new crops to grow.  Would love to get corn, or wheat.  Actually, I could see that, along with a grindstone so sims can make flour and bake their own bread.  And with corn, so many options.

I'm not much for things medieval, but I will pay $30 just for the baby dragons!  I adore the dragons of Pern and I collect Windstone dragons.

I collect dragon stuff too.  Got three bookshelves full of dragon statues, not to mention a dozen posters and puzzles on the walls.  I so want these baby dragons.  I wonder if there will be additional premium content.

Oh my gosh, if they have corn and wheat I would love that. That would make me happy. I play a lot of gardeners, so that really perked up my ears to hear that something new for gardeners was coming.

I have the bad habit, which I definitley need to break, of thinking of them all as expansion packs, even though I know there is a big difference.  It has a different town, different people, different whatever, so I  think of them as expanions packs, even though I know they are store worlds, bought from the Sims store, not from GameStop or other type of store, WallyWorld for example.  They don't have anything special about them, such as what we get with expansion packs, like Pets and SN, but for some reason my mind goes, new town, new people, thus expansion pack, just a lesser version.
I really do know the difference, so I need to stop lumping them all together.  Association, store worlds are like Collies, expansion packs are like Shelties, two different breeds and Shelties are NOT miniture collies.   Shelties are better  (I admit to being prejudiced)

Just so you know.  Dragon Valley is coming to Walmart and the like but it's still going to just be a world/town.

I didn't know it was coming to Wal-Mart, probably also to Gamestop, my son gets points so I buy from there.

I really need to start living in the present.  My grandkids are coming to spend part of the summer with us, so my focus has been on summer, what to feed the oldest.  Learned he is allergic to peanuts, pecans and any dairy products.  Forgot we are still in spring.

Janna there is no reason to feel embarassed.  I know exactly how you feel.  My nephew got out of Pre-K today which means he's mine all day every day until Kindegarten in August.

Dragon Valley will be available later if you get through GameStop.  In fact I think it's already available for pre-order in some places.  So the store will have it first this month and Gamestop will have it later during the summer.

I see what looks like castle ruins on the left side of the image.  I wonder if they will be explorable, and how.  Perhaps dragons can grow big enough to carry a sim there?  That or zenaport.
