Hey guys - The guide is being updated with the Beautiful Vista moodlet information and I'd thought I would share here, too

Some of these lots are occupied by townie families and a few are available on community lots.  However, the lot must be residential to actually give the moodlet to your Sims.

+12 -- 40 Cian Road / Crios Pond
+10 -- 91 Dagda Drive / Empty House - Cozy Cottage
+9 --  30 Clover Drive / Occupied House - Lochlan
+8 -- 35 Aibell Avenue / Empty Lot 30 x 30
+7 -- 64 Oak Grove / Empty Lot 64 x 64
+7 -- 20 Clover Drive / Dragon Tavern
+5 -- 19 Clover Drive / Empty Lot 30 x 40

Dragon Valley Tavern, (Live Show venue), Varg's Tavern, (Private Venue), the Arboretum and Vault of Antiquity have been remodeled for Dragon Valley and are up in the Swap Shop for those who are interested.  Next will be a coffee house venue.  Unfortunately can't do much about Big Show unless I want to do a LOT of work.  Maybe when I have my own pc back.  I'll put up a Supernatural Hang Out soon as well since I snagged Varg's for a venue.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Re: Sims 3 Store World - Dragon Valley Bad Lighting
« Reply #363 on: July 06, 2013, 08:25:23 AM »
I remember back when the Sims 3 first came out that there was an issue with the bad lighting in the Goth's House where the developers had mad it deliberately gloomy and there was a work around code to enter to get the plot back to the usual lighting..
I am loving Dragon Valley but hate the "atmosphere" it gives, especially when  indoors (some houses are gloomier than others) Having read through this section I note that other players are finding this equally annoying.
I know the developers deliberately set the light to look Celtic but have fairly bad eyesight at the best of times and find the lighting awful..Please could Rica or someone equally talented look into this and find out if this can be fixed?
I do not want to put the big Plate Glass window in and destroy the theme of a medieval town .

How you want the world to look is your choice.

The two ways I can think of to change this would be to brighten the lights of the houses or add buydebug lights which is true for any world and any home.  You'll need to cheat to do it and which one works best for you will be personal preferences.

Did you know the festival lot has 3 dragon eggs on it?
That was a nice surprise!

Edit: Oh, I'm sorry, there are more dragon eggs on that lot! I just found 2 3 more! :)
Problem? Don't panic! There is always a solution. You just have to find it  :D

I tried to have my Sims 'play in the ocean" with her nooboo on all three beaches on Dragon Valley but I get a message that they cannot do this action (I get a bubble showing no path). Has anyone experienced this?
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift; that's why it's called a present.

Yes, I love that symbol! It looks a lot like the symbol of The Charmed Ones and I love that show :)
