As a British person, I can say that's a pretty accurate representation of our coastline. Would be great to see a Sim-interpretation of it!
And dragons. Oh my god, DRAGONS.
I managed to resist blowing a chunk of my wages on Lucky Palms and Aurora Skies, but nope. EA, you got me at last. Britain, medieval stuff and dragons.

If you get Island Paradise you might be able to use a boat to get there.

I see what looks like castle ruins on the left side of the image.  I wonder if they will be explorable, and how.  Perhaps dragons can grow big enough to carry a sim there?  That or zenaport.
->Folcon, maybe I will disappoint you, but the dragons will be like small pets-birds, with extra-abilities,nothing more. They are only CUTE BABY DRAGONS... :)

Now theres two things I want this June! Island Paradise and Dragon Valley.

I love mythology and medieval England and this seems the best of both worlds. Also as someone else mentioned, Dragon Valley would be perfect for stereo typical supernaturals, making for better gameplay.

Not only this excites me, but I also love my sims to garden, whether it be a side hobby or the income for the household. Hopefully whatever their adding to gardening will make gardening much more exciting and life-like.

I better start saving up!  :)

I think I'll wait until I read further detail reviews. I was somewhat disappointed with Monte Vista, Aurora Skies, and Lunar Lakes and don't want to spend money again on a world I play once and then set aside. There needs to be a lot stuff in this world like furnitures, clothing and things like this to give it a true medieval feeling. Dragons alone won't do it for me.

I don't have Lunar Lakes, but I am very pleased with MV, AS just doesn't work for me, I don't really care for that town.  With DV, I can't wait, I LOVE Medieval England (or is it Britian?) history, so fastinating.  One of my favorite authors writes about dragons, the way she writes, has them talk you would think she was writing aobut dragons from England, but they are based on another world.
Anyhow, I can't wait, I am trying to figure out who I can rob to buy the game with (the rob Peter to pay Paul aspect, not actual stealing).

What is the game going to cost, the usual $40?

And is there anything special if you purchase it from the EA store, over waiting to buy it from other stores?

It's not really a game like the expansions.  Most of the store worlds run between 20 and 35 I think for the gold edition.  However, as it is being sold much like Monte Vista - expect it's prices to be near that.   They'll do Simpoint bundle deals to get the town from the store or you'll have to buy retail.    I don't know if they'll do a deal like they normally do where there is a discount because of the fact they're selling it retail.

We won't know more until they decide to do the live broadcast which will probably be in the next two weeks.   Store updates on Thursdays so I expect since we haven't heard anything else that it will come out on the 30th.

Why y'all saying "England"?  I'm thinking Ireland.  Much more mysterious in my humble opinion.

Ok, well, Britain did have Avalon etc.  Split the difference and call it "British Isles"?  No matter what, it got me from the ogam stone and dragons.  I am SO ready for this.  Was hoping Medieval would be more like it but this should be much more fun.

What?  Grannies can't play games?

The links for both Dragon Valley standard and Gold, including the Celtic Lands set, are up on the Sims 3 Store under Worlds.

The Red Dragon is the PC item, and it's a baby dragon.

I must say the Gold edition looks very weak.  The Celtic Lands "set" is only 10 items that they're packaging together for 800 simpoints.  You still get 1900 simpoints with the gold bundle but there is no new venue, nor any other PC items besides the one dragon.

I think I'm probably going to wait til it's in retail stores and sold for $10 somewhere in a few months like Monte Vista.
