I read all of the Pern books last year, and I think it's time for a re-read. I do remember that most of the dragons were metallic, not colorful.
Guys, I'm sorry to be the bad guy here, but a lot of us don't have a clue what you're talking about. Could you talk about Pern on a Babble Board thread and keep this one on topic?
The broadcast is for 10:00 AM PDT. What is PDT?
I have to point out that TECHNICALLY these guys are all wyverns, which are four-limbed dragons whose body structure is much like a bat or bird, in which their wings are their forelimbs. They're considered a sub-species or related species. Most proper Western dragons are six-limbed, with their wings like a separate pair of arms.BUT that is not a complaint - just a technicality. I still love the look of these little guys and can't wait to play with them!
Did pterodactyls have six or four limbs?Dragons, to me, always have six limbs. Wings, forearms/forelegs, and hind legs. I just cannot imagine a dragon not having forearms, even if they are very tiny ones.
